Mount Ecclesia (dedicated on October 28, 1911) is the location of the international headquarters of the fraternal and service organization The Rosicrucian Fellowship (TRF), located on grounds in Oceanside, California. It is also the location of its spiritual temple, called The Ecclesia, situated upon the promontory of a high mesa overlooking the San Luis Rey River Valley and the Franciscan Mission San Luis Rey de Francia. On April 7, 1995, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places as the Rosicrucian Fellowship Temple.

The Americanization School in Oceanside, California, built in 1931, was intended as an assimilation school where Spanish-speaking Oceanside residents would be taught English and civics. Historically, it reflects a time before the rise of multiculturalism where immigrants who arrived in the United States were more actively Americanized in assimilation programs.The building, now known as the Crown Heights Resource Center, was designed by Irving Gill. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The school was one of the last works by Gill, a pioneer of modern architecture and one of nearby San Diego's most celebrated architects.

Oceanside Municipal Airport, also known as the Bob Maxwell Memorial Field (IATA: OCN, ICAO: KOKB, FAA LID: OKB), is a public airport located two miles (3 km) northeast of the central business district of Oceanside, a city in San Diego County, California, United States. It is located between California State Route 76 and the San Luis Rey River bike path. The airport covers 43 acres (170,000 m2) and has one runway. It is mostly used for general aviation. The airport is operated and managed by Airport Property Ventures. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Oceanside Municipal Airport is assigned OKB by the FAA and OCN by the IATA. The airport's ICAO identifier is KOKB. The FAA identifier OCN belongs to the Oceanside VORTAC 4 miles west-northwest of the Oceanside Airport.

The Oceanside City Hall and Fire Station, also known as Oceanside Civic Center, at 704 and 714 Third St. in Oceanside, California, was built in 1929. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It consists of two buildings, a single-story L-shaped city hall and a two-story fire station with a 50 feet (15 m) tower, which are visually linked by a retaining wall.The buildings were designed by architect Irving J. Gill in 1929 as part of a larger civic complex which was not completed.The listing included one contributing object.

Buena Vista Lagoon is a freshwater lagoon adjacent to the Pacific Ocean in the South Coast region of Southern California within North County, San Diego County. The lagoon covers 223 acres of wetland habitat and serves as a geographic border between Carlsbad and Oceanside. Buena Vista Lagoon is managed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The lagoon is home to the Buena Vista Audubon Society Nature Center, and is California's first Ecological Reserve. Two non-profit organizations are committed to the preservation and management of the lagoon: the Buena Vista Audubon Society and the Buena Vista Lagoon Foundation

Oceanside Transit Center is a major railway interchange in Oceanside, California, serving both intercity and suburban/commuter services. The station is used by Amtrak on the route of its Pacific Surfliner service between San Diego and San Luis Obispo. It is also a terminus for two different regional transit operators – Metrolink, the commuter rail operator for the Los Angeles area, has two of its services, the Orange County Line and Inland Empire–Orange County Line, that terminate at Oceanside (the only Metrolink station in San Diego County), while the North County Transit District, the operator for most of the public transport in the North County, has its COASTER and SPRINTER services also terminating at Oceanside. Oceanside Transit Center is also served by Greyhound Lines, numerous BREEZE buses, and is also the terminal for Riverside Transit Agency's Bus Route 202 to Temecula and Murrieta (which is temporarily suspended in response to the COVID-19 pandemic). COASTER and Metrolink trains going out of service will head to Stuart Mesa but due to the small facility, some Metrolink sets will either be kept at the nearby Fallbrook Yard or stored on an empty track south of the station.

The Shoppes at Carlsbad is a shopping mall in Carlsbad, California. The mall was originally named Plaza Camino Real when it was built in 1969, but was rebranded several times when it was a Westfield Holdings property (1994-2015). Its anchor stores are JCPenney and Macy's (in two locations). A Robinsons-May closed in 2006, while Sears closed on December 15, 2019.

The Top Gun House, formerly known as the Graves House, is a historic landmark in Oceanside, California known for being the location in a scene in the 1986 action drama film Top Gun, starring Tom Cruise. It was built in 1888 and utilizes Folk Victorian styles, being one of the earliest surviving examples of it in San Diego County. As of 2023, it is in possession of the Mission Pacific Hotel and contains a pie shop.
