The French Quarter is an official city-designated district of Philadelphia spanning the area between 17th and 19th Streets east and west and Walnut and Sansom Streets from north to south. The designation was made official in 1999. According to City Paper, the Philadelphia French Quarter "... is one of the few places outside France that supports a thriving French culture" even though "it remains largely unrecognized by both tourists and natives". The area is closely tied to the culture of Rittenhouse Square.

First Baptist Church of Philadelphia is a Baptist church founded in 1698 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States.

The 1616 Walnut Street Building or 1616 Building is a historic high-rise building in the Center City area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A twenty-four-story building, it stands ninety-four meters tall. Listed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on January 7, 1982, it was then also listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Sun Oil Building is a historic building in the Center City area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The 19-story Art Deco high-rise stands 230 feet (70 m) tall. It served as the headquarters of the Sun Oil Company from its erection in 1928 until Sun relocated in 1971. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on February 2, 1984.

The Granoff School of Music is a music school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded by Isadore Granoff (1902 - 2000), a Ukrainian immigrant. Alumni of Granoff include Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Fortune, and John Coltrane. Some of his students later became well-known classical, jazz, swing, big band and Latin musicians.Granoff's studio was originally in his row-house in South Philadelphia at 8th and Porter Streets, where the parlor served as waiting room, and the lessons were given in the adjoining dining room, furnished with a couple of music stands and an old upright piano. In 1928, he relocated his studio to the Presser Building at 17th and Chestnut Streets in Center City (central Philadelphia). The upper stories of that building were partitioned, and contained studios for voice and instrumentalists. It was here that his studio, originally for lessons in classical violin, metamorphosed, in the late 1930s, into the broader music school. Granoff sold the music school in 1970.

The Warwick is a historic hotel in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally constructed in 1925 in an English Renaissance style, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, and on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on February 8, 1995. The hotel hosted the 1944 NFL Draft, 1960 NFL Draft and 1961 NFL Draft.The building has been divided into condominiums and a hotel that has operated as the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel in the past, but is now an independent hotel, the Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square.

The Love is an American restaurant located in Philadelphia. It is the third collaboration between Philadelphia-based restaurateurs Stephen Starr and Aimee Olexy, and Starr's twentieth restaurant in the city. The interior was designed by Roman and Williams. The firm also designed Starr's restaurants Upland and Le Coucou. The location formerly housed Starr restaurant Serafina. The restaurant is priced to appeal to locals, rather than serve as a destination.

The Curtis Institute of Music is a private conservatory in Philadelphia. It offers a performance diploma, Bachelor of Music, Master of Music in opera, and a Professional Studies Certificate in opera. All students attend on full scholarship.

The Barclay Hotel was located at 237 S. 18th St. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Rittenhouse Square. Opened in October 1929, it was, at one time, the most famous hotel in the city, and was owned by the well-known developer John McShain. After a later owner went into bankruptcy in 1992, the property was sold in 1994 and was converted to condominiums. The hotel was the site of the FBI's Abscam sting operation in 1980, which exposed corruption in government. Federal agents posing as Arab sheikhs rented a suite here, where they solicited the help of local, state and federal officials.The hotel was first put up for sale in 1989 for approximately $30 million. In April 1992, owner Barclay Hotel Associates filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The property was purchased by Princeton developer Peter Marks for $4.3 million on Monday, October 31, 1994. Construction on the Barclay Condominiums was completed in 2005.
