The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Arabic: المجلس الملكي الاستشاري للشؤون الصحراوية; French: Conseil royal consultatif pour les affaires sahariennes; Spanish: Real Consejo Consultivo para los Asuntos del Sahara) is an advisory committee to the Moroccan government on Western Sahara. It was created under Mohammed VI in early 2006, after a new autonomy plan proposed by Morocco to replace the United Nations' Baker Plan. The Polisario Front opposes Morocco's autonomy plan, demanding for a referendum and independence.

The Lalla Meryem Cup is a women's professional golf tournament in Morocco under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. It was held in Rabat until it moved to Agadir in 2011. It moved back to Rabat in 2016. The tournament has been played annually since 1993 and is held alongside the Hassan II Golf Trophy. In 2010 it was added to the Ladies European Tour schedule and upgraded to a full field tournament having previously been limited to around 12 players. Both tournaments moved to Agadir in 2011.

The Hassan II Golf Trophy is a golf tournament in Morocco hosted by Prince Moulay Rachid. The tournament was founded by, and is now named for, his father, Hassan II, who served as King of Morocco. The tournament was originally staged as an invitational pro-am and attended by only a handful of top professionals. The winner receives a gold dagger inlaid with jewels.It has been held at the Robert Trent Jones designed Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat every year except for 2011 through 2015, when it moved to Golf du Palais Royal in Agadir. The tournament has been played since 1971, but did not take place from 1986 to 1990, 2004, and 2009. It has been a European Tour event since 2010.In November 2021, it was announced that the 2022 event would feature on the PGA Tour Champions schedule.

The Lycée André Malraux (Arabic: المجموعة المدرسية أندري مالرو) is a French international school in Rabat, Morocco. It was established in 1997 and is part of the Mission laïque française OSUI network. It serves levels maternelle (preschool) through terminale, the final year of lycée (senior high school) and it allows French, English and Arabic languages learning from preschool for all children. As of 2017 the school has about 1,800 students that range in age from 3 to 18 in two different campuses.

Moulay Hassan Stadium is a stadium located in Rabat, Morocco. The stadium was renovated in 2012. It is the home venue of Fath Union Sport.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Rabat is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Morocco. It is currently located in the Souissi neighborhood of southern Rabat, near the Finnish, Norwegian and Russian embassies. Although the current embassy dates from 2019, the Philippines maintained a previous resident embassy in Morocco from 1979 to 1986, and again from 1990 to 1993.

Hit Radio is a Moroccan leading radio station established in 2008 in Rabat, broadcasting news and recent hits from all over the world in addition to talents from Morocco and the Arab World. It also publishes its own greatly followed weekly Top 30 singles chart. According to the station, 40% of its output is on young Moroccan artists. The station has also developed internationally with stations of similar format in Africa and parts of Europe, most notably Portugal, Senegal and Togo.

Air France Flight 2005 of 12 September 1961 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Paris-Orly Airport to Casablanca Airport with a stop at Rabat-Salé Airport. The Sud Aviation Caravelle aircraft crashed that day at 21:09 GMT near a place called Douar Doum 8.4 kilometres (5.2 mi; 4.5 nmi) from the threshold of runway 04 and 1.4 kilometres (0.87 mi; 0.76 nmi) to the left of the extended centreline at a height of 87.5 metres (287 ft) above sea level, killing all 77 people on board, including 6 crew members. The weather was foggy and unfavourable for landing.

The National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) (Arabic: المعهد الوطني للإحصاء والاقتصادالتطبيقي) is one of the oldest engineering schools in Morocco and remains to this day one of the most prestigious Moroccan Grandes écoles in engineering. Located in Rabat and created in 1961, its latest naming has changed by Royal Decree from the appellation The Training Centre of Engineers in Statistics in 1967 with the support of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).
