Engine House No. 3, Truck No. 2

The Jefferson Trust Company is a historic building located in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1912 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 13, 1986. The original trust company failed during the Great Depression and the building passed on to a succession of owners. The building was constructed using granite and brick. Much of the original plaster interior remains intact. The building underwent a renovation into luxury condos in the 2000s.

Engine Company No. 3 is located in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The firehouse was designed by Fagan & Briscoe and was built in 1915. The firehouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1984. The firehouse serves as the headquarters for the Hoboken Fire Department, but houses no fire companies.

The Keuffel and Esser Manufacturing Complex is located in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The western concrete building with the four-sided clock tower was built in 1906 and opened in 1907, after the previous building was destroyed by a fire in 1905. Keuffel and Esser manufactured instruments for the architectural, engineering and drafting professions at the complex from 1907 to 1968.In 1975 the building was converted to housing. The western half of the complex became known as Clock Towers, while the eastern half of the complex (which was built in 1887) was converted into residential apartments in 1984 and became what is now called the Grand Adams Apartments. The complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 12, 1985.

The Village is a neighborhood in the western section of Historic Downtown in Jersey City. It is bordered by Hamilton Park and Harsimus Cove to the east and the Turnpike Extension to the west, on the other side of which Jones Park and Mary Benson Park are located. The United Synagogue of Hoboken is a Conservative synagogue in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States.

The Horseshoe section of Jersey City, New Jersey, was the second ward, and was the home of the immigrants, tenements, and taverns. The Republican-controlled Legislature gerrymandered the district in 1871 to concentrate and isolate Democratic, and mostly Catholic, votes, thus preserving Republican dominance in the rest of the state. The curved shape of the district was said to resemble a horseshoe.As competing railroads built cuts through Bergen Hill, they also built viaducts from the foot of the cliff which passed through residential districts to the waterfront. The district is often associated with the name Pavonia encompassing Harsimus Cove, Hamilton Park, Powerhouse and the former site of the Erie Railroad's Hudson waterfront Pavonia Terminal and the Pavonia Ferry, which since the 1980s has been redeveloped as Newport. Frank Hague was born in the Horseshoe, and used it as his power base to become mayor of Jersey City and influential in local, state, and national politics.

Hoboken University Medical Center is a community hospital located in Hoboken, New Jersey with 190 beds. It was founded in 1863 as St. Mary Hospital and operated under that name until 2007. The hospital is owned by Hudson Hospital Opco, known as CarePoint Health, an organization that also owns Bayonne Medical Center and Christ Hospital. The hospital is an academic affiliate of New York Medical College and was previously an academic affiliate of New Jersey Medical School.
