Forest Lawn Cemetery (Cathedral City), renamed from Palm Springs Mortuary & Mausoleum in 2005, is a mausoleum in Cathedral City, California near Palm Springs. It is operated by Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks & Mortuaries.

Rancho Mirage High School is a secondary school located in Rancho Mirage, California. The school is a part of the Palm Springs Unified School District. Rancho Mirage High School was founded in 2013. RMHS is a comprehensive high school offering college preparatory classes along with programs in automotive repair, culinary arts, technical theater, AVID, Honors and Advanced Placement classes. For the 2019-2020 school year, there were 1,524 students in grades 9 through 12. The majority of students at Rancho Mirage High School come from James Workman Middle School and Nellie N. Coffman Middle School, both in Cathedral City. In Sports, their football and basketball teams play other teams belonging to the Desert Empire League and some teams from the Desert Valley League. Their junior varsity and varsity football teams play in Dr. Jerry Argovitz Football Stadium on the RMHS campus, dedicated to the PSUSD sports institute official.In the Performing Arts Technical Theater 1 out of the 4 programs at Rancho Mirage High School is located in Helene Galen Performing Arts Center as well as other District programs such as the Musical Theater University. The 2015 ANA Inspiration was the 44th ANA Inspiration, held April 2–5 on the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. The tournament was in its first year with All Nippon Airways (ANA) as the title sponsor and its 33rd year as a major championship. 2009 champion Brittany Lincicome eagled the 72nd hole to force a playoff, then defeated Stacy Lewis on the third extra hole to win her second major title. Golf Channel televised the event.

The 1984 Nabisco Dinah Shore was a women's professional golf tournament, held April 5–8 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the thirteenth edition of the ANA Inspiration, and the second as a major championship. With a purse of $400,000 and a winner's share of $55,000, this was the richest event in women's golf in 1984.Juli Inkster, 23, won the first of her seven major titles in a sudden-death playoff over Pat Bradley, with a par on the first extra hole. It was Inkster's second win on tour; she turned professional eight months earlier and won the Safeco Classic near Seattle in September 1983.Defending champion Amy Alcott finished at even par 288, eight strokes back in a tie for tenth.

The 2002 Kraft Nabisco Championship was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 28–31 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 31st edition of the Kraft Nabisco Championship, and the twentieth as a major championship. Defending champion Annika Sörenstam shot a final round 68 to win the second of her three titles at this event, one stroke ahead of runner-up and compatriot Liselotte Neumann; it was the fourth of Sörenstam's ten major titles. The co-leaders after 54 holes were Sörenstam, Neumann, and Karrie Webb, the 2000 champion.Through 2017, this is the sole successful title defense at this major championship. Before it became a major in 1983, Sandra Post won consecutively in 1978 and 1979.

The 1983 Nabisco Dinah Shore was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 31 to April 3 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. It was the twelfth edition of what is now the ANA Inspiration and its first year as a major championship. In strong winds, Amy Alcott won the third of her five major titles, two strokes ahead of runners-up Kathy Whitworth and Beth Daniel, the leader after each of the first three rounds. Alcott won the title again in 1988 and 1991. It was the richest tournament in women's golf in 1983; the $400,000 purse was double that of the 1983 U.S. Women's Open. The final round attendance in 1983 was over 20,000, and this was the first year that amateurs were invited; two made the cut and future major winner Kathy Baker was the low amateur.The previous year's champion, Sally Little, finished at 303 (+15), 21 strokes back in a tie for 44th place.

The 1996 Nabisco Dinah Shore was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 28–31 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 25th edition of the Nabisco Dinah Shore, and the fourteenth as a major championship. Patty Sheehan won her only Nabisco Dinah Shore, one stroke ahead of runners-up Meg Mallon, Kelly Robbins, and Annika Sörenstam. She sank a 7-foot (2 m) putt for par on the final hole to avoid a four-way playoff and win the last of her six major titles.

The 2021 ANA Inspiration was the 50th ANA Inspiration golf tournament, held April 1–4, 2021 at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course of Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. It was its 39th year as a major championship on the LPGA Tour, and Golf Channel televised the event for the 11th consecutive year. The tournament was originally known as the Colgate-Dinah Shore Winner's Circle. Patty Tavatanakit won her first LPGA Tour event by two strokes over Lydia Ko. Tavatanakit won the event wire-to-wire and became the first rookie to win the ANA Inspiration since Juli Inkster in 1984 and the fourth straight first-time major winner.

The 2005 Kraft Nabisco Championship was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 24–27 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 34th edition of the Kraft Nabisco Championship, and the 23rd edition as a major championship. ESPN and ABC Sports televised the event. Annika Sörenstam, the champion in 2001 and 2002, won the event for the third and final time, eight strokes ahead of runner-up Rosie Jones. It was the eighth of her ten major titles.

The 1995 Nabisco Dinah Shore was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 23–26 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 24th edition of the Nabisco Dinah Shore, and the thirteenth as a major championship. Nanci Bowen won her only major title, one stroke ahead of runner-up Susie Redman; it was her sole victory on the LPGA Tour. Tammie Green was the 54-hole leader, followed by Nancy Lopez and Laura Davies, but all three were over par on Sunday. Bowen and Redman were four strokes back after three rounds at 215 (−1); Bowen was one shot better in the final round with 70 and won.

The 2004 Kraft Nabisco Championship was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 25–28 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 33rd edition of the Kraft Nabisco Championship, and the 22nd edition as a major championship. Grace Park won her only major title by one stroke, sinking a 6-foot (1.8 m) birdie putt on the 72nd hole. Only moments earlier, runner-up Aree Song had dropped a 30-foot (9 m) eagle putt to tie. Long-time tournament director Terry Wilcox called this Kraft Nabisco "the most thrilling he can recall."The top amateur was 14-year-old Michelle Wie, four strokes back in fourth place.
