White Carniola (Slovene: Bela krajina; Croatian: Bela krajina; German: Weißkrain or Weiße Mark) is a traditional region in southeastern Slovenia on the border with Croatia. Due to its smallness, it is often considered a subunit of the broader Lower Carniola region, although with distinctive cultural, linguistic, and historical features. Due to its proximity with Croatia, White Carniola shares many cultural and linguistic features with the neighboring Kajkavian Croatian areas. It is generally considered the Slovenian region with the closest cultural affinity with other South Slavic territories. It was part of Slavonia until the 12th century, after which it shared the historical fate with the Windic March and Lower Carniola to the north. During the 19th century, it was one of the regions with the highest emigration rate in the Slovene Lands, and the Austrian Empire in general. During World War II, it was an important center of anti-Fascist resistance in Slovenia.

The Municipality of Črnomelj (pronounced [tʃəɾˈnoːməl]; Slovene: Občina Črnomelj) is a municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town of Črnomelj. The municipality is at the heart of the area of White Carniola, the southeastern part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. It borders Croatia on the Kolpa River.

The Dobličica is a stream in White Carniola. It is part of a karst aquifer. Due to its geological and hydrological characteristics and urbanization of the area, it is considered sensitive and subject to pollution.

Loka Stadium (Slovene: Stadion Loka) or ŠRC Loka (Slovene: Športno rekreacijski center Loka) is a multi-use stadium in Črnomelj, Slovenia. It is used mostly for football matches and was the home ground of the former Slovenian First League side NK Bela Krajina until their disbandment in 2016. Since then, it has been used by their phoenix club NŠ Bela Krajina. The stadium holds 1,517 spectators. The original stadium opened in 1955, and the current one was built in 2001. It is the largest stadium in White Carniola.

Čudno Selo (pronounced [ˈtʃuːdnɔ ˈsɛːlɔ]; Slovene: Čudno selo; German: Tschudnofeld) is a settlement on the right bank of the Lahinja River in the Municipality of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Dolnja Paka (pronounced [ˈdoːlnja ˈpaːka]; in older sources also Dolenja Paka, German: Unterpaka) is a small settlement west of the town of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. Desinec (pronounced [dɛˈsiːnəts]) is a settlement in the eastern part of the Municipality of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Mark and belongs to the Parish of Črnomelj. It is a medieval building that was restyled in the Baroque style in the 18th century.

Otovec (pronounced [ˈoːtɔʋəts]; German: Otawitz) is a settlement northwest of the town of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. A stone railroad viaduct with fifteen arches on high columns stands in the southern part of the settlement. The viaduct was built in 1914 and damaged during the Second World War. It was repaired after the war. The local church stands north of the settlement in Sela pri Otovcu.

Pavičiči (pronounced [paˈʋiːtʃitʃi]) is a small village in the Municipality of Črnomelj in southeastern Slovenia. Until 2007, the area was part of the settlement of Zastava. The village is part of the traditional region of White Carniola and is included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
