Eastchester High School is located in Westchester County, New York in the town of Eastchester. A part of the Eastchester Union Free School District, it is a former U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon school with approximately 1009 students. Graduates have gained acceptance to schools such as Bucknell University, Johns Hopkins University, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Georgia Tech, Princeton University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, Cornell University, Notre Dame, University of Virginia, University of Miami, Tulane University, Haverford College, Harvard University, Union College, and Stanford University. Eastchester High School is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Eastchester is a town in southern Westchester County, New York, United States. The population was 32,363 at the 2010 census, and 32,964 as of 2018's census estimates. There are two villages within the town: Bronxville and Tuckahoe. The town contains a census-designated place also named Eastchester, which is the whole town of Eastchester excluding Bronxville and Tuckahoe.

Lake Innisfree (also known as Lake Isle or Interlaken, and originally as Reservoir No. 1) is a man-made lake and former reservoir in the city of New Rochelle, in Westchester County, New York. The lake is located along the border of the neighboring town of Eastchester, and its eastern end abuts the Hutchinson River Parkway. The lake takes its name from the poem Lake Isle of Innisfree by W. B. Yeats.

Cooper's Corners is a historic section of the city of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. For over two centuries Cooper's Corners served as an outpost for residents who lived in rural 'Upper New Rochelle', an area miles from the business center of town.The hamlet took shape at North Avenue and Mill Road near the Hutchinson River, and grew to include ‘Burtis Mill’, John Cooper’s General Store, the Coopers Corners School, St. John's Wilmot Church, and the Wilmot Fire Station No. 6. When a 1795 act of state legislature provided the first funding for public schools, one of the first three schools established in the community was the Cooper's Corners School. Children living in the very northern sections of New Rochelle and neighboring Eastchester attended school in the one-room building until 1920 when Roosevelt School was constructed in the newly developing Wykagyl area. The building is currently used as a private nursery school.Twenty families attended the first service in the newly built St. John's Wilmot Church in February, 1860. They had previously walked over five miles from their farms in Upper New Rochelle to attend services at Trinity Church in the heart of downtown. St. John's Church is now the oldest extant house of worship in New Rochelle, having been completed in 1859 at the corner of North Avenue and Wilmot Road.In 1894 the reservoir Lake Innisfree was constructed by the New Rochelle Water Company along the hamlets northern border. Much of the surrounding forest and farmland was also purchased for use as a watershed for the lake which became the primary water supply source for Upper Rochelle during late 19th & early 20th centuries. In 1901 Adrian G Iselin provided funds to build the Wilmot Fire Station at the southwest corner of Wilmot Road, North Avenue and Mill Road. Now a private residence, the Wilmot Fire Station was replaced by station No.5 which was built at the end of Pinebrook Boulevard in 1950.

Crestwood station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, serving the communities of Tuckahoe, Yonkers, and Eastchester, New York. It is 16.7 miles (26.9 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time there is approximately 42 minutes. Because of its location at the northern end of the triple-track segment of the Harlem Line, Crestwood is often the first/last stop outside New York City on Harlem Line express trains, and its center island platform is frequently used to short turn local trains during rush hour. The Harlem Line has two stations in the village of Tuckahoe. Tuckahoe station, the next station heading southbound, is located near Tuckahoe Village Hall, while Crestwood is located near the adjoining residential neighborhood of Crestwood, Yonkers. As of August 2006, daily commuter ridership was 1,596, and there are 283 parking spots. The station is the first/last station in the Zone 3 Metro-North fare zone.

St. John's Wilmot Church is an Episcopal parish in New Rochelle, New York. Located at the intersection of North Avenue, Mill Road and Wilmot Road, the church anchors the 17th - 19th century satellite hamlet of Cooper's Corners. Officially founded on May 1, 1858, the Alexander Durand designed Carpenter Gothic church was completed in 1859 to serve as a "chapel of ease" for people who found it too difficult to travel five miles to Trinity Church on Huguenot Street in the southern part of town and St. James-the-Less in Scarsdale. Soon it was an independent church, incorporated under the laws of New York State December 8, 1860, serving parishioners in the northern reaches of New Rochelle and beyond. The church is built on a foundation of Tuckahoe marble, while the building’s interior retains such original details as 19 mahogany pews and chandeliers. St. John's was the location of the first public school in New Rochelle. It was established under the provisions of the Act of April 9, 1795, the first public school law passed by the State of New York. The school house was built between 1830 and 1840, replacing an original single room school built in 1795. In 1922, the New Rochelle School Board transferred its students to the Roosevelt School. The Church purchased the property in 1943 for use as a Sunday school and clergy offices.Artist Norman Rockwell was a member of the St. John's congregation. His children were baptized in the church.The Rev. Jennie Talley was called as the 20th rector of St. John's on June 5, 2016, and is its first woman rector.

Vernon Hills Village, formerly the Vernon Hills Shopping Center is a 380,000 sq ft (35,303 m2) shopping center in Eastchester, New York near Scarsdale and about 5 mi (8 km) from downtown White Plains, in Westchester County. Officially not part of the shopping center but immediately adjacent a former branch of Lord & Taylor which preceded the shopping center, opening in 1947, and operating for 73 years through 2020. Since 2022 a Saks Off Fifth store is located there.

Reservoir 3 is a man-made reservoir located in the northern portion of the city of New Rochelle along the New Rochelle - Eastchester in Westchester County, New York. Constructed in 1908, the reservoir is impounded by the New Rochelle "Reservoir 3 dam" on the Hutchinson River. The dam is of earthen construction, with a height of 30 feet and a length of 450 feet. It has an area of about 30 acres, and a capacity of about 128,000,000 gallons. Maximum discharge is 1815 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 498 acre feet. Normal storage is 220 acre feet. It drains an area of 2.85 square miles. The reservoir is currently owned by the Westchester County Dept Of Parks and Recreation. This reservoir serves as a storage reservoir for the high-level system, with the overflow from it passing directly to Reservoir 2. The water from this reservoir, and from Reservoir 2, was originally pumped at a pumping station into the mains of the high service system to serve the northern portions of New Rochelle. The upper end of the reservoir is swampy at the point where the Hutchinson River enters. Just above the upper end of the reservoir and on the east side there is a small feeder which flows into the main river and has its headwaters near the parkway 500 or 600 feet to the east of the main river. About one-half of a mile above the upper end of the reservoir the Hutchinson River Parkway crosses the river between reservoirs 1 and 3.

The Ursuline School is an all-girls, independent, private, Roman Catholic middle and high school located on a 13-acre (53,000 m2) campus in New Rochelle, New York in Westchester County. The school was founded in 1897 by the Order of St. Ursula. The school is part of a network of 15 Ursuline schools in North America and many around the world.Ursuline is home to approximately 800 students, grades 6–12, that come from throughout the Metropolitan Area, including the Bronx, Westchester County, Rockland County, Manhattan and Connecticut.Ursuline's brother school is Iona Prep, also located in New Rochelle.

Crestwood is a neighborhood in Yonkers, New York. Located in northeastern Yonkers, Crestwood is separated by the Bronx River from the village of Tuckahoe. Because the majority of Crestwood is served by the Tuckahoe post office, many residents identify their location as Tuckahoe or Crestwood, rather than Yonkers. Closer to the Crestwood train station, several grand homes occupy the hilly ground overlooking the river. The Bronx River serves as the city line between several Westchester communities, dividing the city of Yonkers from the Town of Eastchester, which contains the villages of Tuckahoe and Bronxville. Crestwood is commonly referred to as the softest wood in America, beating out its neighbor, Fleetwood, for the top spot every year.

Tuckahoe is a village in Westchester County, New York, United States. One-and-a-half miles long and three-fourths of a mile wide, with the Bronx River serving as its western boundary, the Village of Tuckahoe is approximately sixteen miles north of midtown Manhattan in Southern Westchester County. As of the 2010 census, the village's population was 6,486.The village can be reached by the Metro-North railroad system. The Tuckahoe and Crestwood stations are 32 minutes and 34 minutes from New York City's Grand Central Terminal, respectively.

Tuckahoe High School is a historic high school located in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1930–1931, and is a three-story brick building with Aztec-inspired cast stone trim in the Art Deco style. The front facade is composed of a three-story, nine bay central pavilion, deeply recessed two-story, five bay connecting wings, and projecting, identical, two-story, five bay end pavilions.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
