Mayfield (village), New York

The Oliver Rice House, also called the Rice Homestead, is a historic home located at Mayfield in Fulton County, New York. Rice served in the American Revolutionary War under George Washington. The main section of the house was built about 1810 and is a large, 2-story, five-bay, center-chimney frame dwelling enlarged and expanded in three phases through 1936. A small 1+1⁄2-story wing constructed about 1790 was moved and appended to this house sometime between about 1810 and 1847. Also on the property is a 19th-century brick smokehouse and a garage and pumphouse dating to the early 20th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Log Cabin Church is a historic non-denominational church at 413 Progress Road in the hamlet of Progress in the town of Mayfield, Fulton County, New York. It was built in 1937 and is a 26 feet deep by 18 feet wide log structure constructed of white poplar logs laid horizontally. Also on the property is a privy and a parish activities hall. The Log Cabin Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Kingsboro Historic District is a small national historic district located in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York. The district contains 18 contributing buildings and one contributing site. The district encompasses all the properties that face Veterans Park – formerly Kingsboro Avenue Park – plus five additional properties. These properties are primarily one and two family residences dating to the 1820 to 1840 period and reflect the Greek Revival style. Also included is the Kingsboro church (1838), Kingsboro Cemetery, a monument in the park, and a former elementary school which is now the Fulton County Museum.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Broadalbin is a village in Fulton County, New York, United States. The name derives from the Breadalbane Region in Scotland. The majority of the village lies in the town of Broadalbin, but a small part is located in the town of Mayfield. The population of the village was 1,327 at the 2010 census.

Hotel Broadalbin is a historic hotel at 59 W. Main St. in Broadalbin, Fulton County, New York. The property was recently renovated and reopened in July 2019 as a full-service hotel. It features a restaurant, bar and lounge, and operates year round. The historic structure is a two-part building consisting of a two-story, brick block building built in 1854, when it was built as a glove store, and clapboard clad frame block added in 1881 when it was converted into a hotel. The brick block measures 30 feet by 90 and frame addition is 55 feet by 65 feet. Both have gable roofs and features a two-story, hipped roof verandah added about 1881.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

The Gustav Levor House is a historic home located in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York. It was built in 1892 and is an irregularly massed, 2+1⁄2-story, frame, Queen Anne–style residence. It features complex massing, a polygonal wall bay, intersecting roofs and gables, and an engaged round corner tower with a conical roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Gloversville Armory is a historic National Guard armory building located at 87 Washington Street in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York. It is a brick and red sandstone castle-like structure built from 1903 to 1904, designed to be reminiscent of medieval military structures in Europe. It was designed by State Architect George L. Heins in the Late Victorian style. The armory is used by the New York Army National Guard. It consists of a two-story administration building with an attached drill shed. The building features three engaged irregular towers; a five-story octagonal tower, two-story square tower with hipped roof, and two-story tower with crenelated parapet.The Gloversville Armory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Gloversville Public Library, located at 58 East Fulton Street in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York, was constructed in 1904 with funds provided by the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. It is one of 3,000 such Carnegie libraries constructed between 1885 and 1919, and one of 107 in New York State. Carnegie contributed $50,000 toward the cost to build. His name is inscribed on the building's entrance. The building is a two-story Beaux-Arts style building, designed by New York City architect Albert Randolph Ross. It consists of four parts: a domed entrance hall containing stairwells, a large central stack space, and two flanking wings that meet the central axis at a 45-degree angle.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 as the "Gloversville Free Library".Predecessors of the current Gloversville Public Library, which was incorporated as a school district public library in 2005, include the Gloversville Free Library – an association library from 1888 to 2005 – and the Levi Parsons Library of Gloversville and Kingsborough, a subscription library from 1880 to 1888. The Gloversville Public Library reopened on November 5, 2018 after undergoing the renovation of the historic library building
