Remington Stables

US Post Office-Ilion is a historic post office building located at Ilion in Herkimer County, New York, United States. It was built in 1935–36, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It is a one-story, seven-bay, steel frame building on a raised foundation with a brick watercourse in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features a 1937 plaster relief by artist Edmond Amateis of Eliphalet Remington.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

First United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church at Ilion in Herkimer County, New York. It consists of the original church was built between 1864 and 1866 and the attached 1890 Remington Chapel. The main block of the church consists of tall, red brick masonry walls erected above a basement of cut stone in the Italianate style. The 85 feet by 45 feet rectangular, gable roofed sanctuary features an engaged brick entrance / bell tower. The Remington Chapel features Tiffany stained glass windows installed in 1911 and 1928 in memory to members of the Remington family.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Steele Creek is a river in Herkimer County in the state of New York. The creek begins in an unnamed swamp south of Cedarville, and flows in a northeast direction before emptying into the Mohawk River in the village of Ilion. Steele Creek travels through the Ilion Gorge and alongside NY-51 for most of its length. Steele Creek derives its name from Rudolph Stahl (Staele, Staley, Steele), who built the first grist mill in Ilion along the creek.

Thomas Richardson House is a historic home located at Ilion in Herkimer County, New York. It was built around 1873, and is a brick structure with an asymmetrical rectangular plan in the Italianate style. The two-story main block has a hipped roof and 3 two-story projecting bays with clipped gable roofs covered in slate. It features a three-story tower with a two-tiered, concave mansard roof. The property includes the original carriage house and landscaping.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It is now owned by YouTube and Netflix personality Christine McConnell.

It was built after the middle of the 18th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

South Ilion is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of German Flatts in Herkimer County, New York, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The community is in southwestern Herkimer County, in the southwestern part of German Flatts. The hamlet is in a narrow valley that leads upstream into Spinnerville Gulf and is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of the village of Ilion. New York State Route 51 runs through the northwestern side of the CDP, following the valley of Steele Creek. The highway leads north into Ilion and southwest 10 miles (16 km) to East Winfield.
