Jericho Friends Meeting House Complex

The Jericho Jewish Center is a Conservative congregation and synagogue located at 430 North Broadway, Jericho, New York, in the United States.The congregation was established in 1955, when it began meeting on a local private estate. Construction of the Jericho Jewish Center synagogue began in June 1959, and was completed in 1960. The Iken STEM Science Academy Preschool, housed in the Jericho Jewish Center, opened in 2016.In 2022 it was reported that the congregation's attempts to consolidate with a nearby Conservative congregation, the Woodbury Jewish Center, failed and that the future of the Jericho Jewish Center was uncertain. Rabbi Matthew Abelson stood down from his position following a vote to merge the congregations.

Jericho High School is an American comprehensive public high school in the hamlet of Jericho in Nassau County, New York. It is the only high school in the Jericho Union Free School District. It opened in 1959. As of the 2022-2023 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,195 students and 104 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.5:1. There were 155 students (13% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch.

Jericho is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States, approximately 29 miles (47 km) east of Midtown Manhattan. The population was 14,808 at the time of the 2020 census. The area is served by the Jericho Union Free and the Syosset Central School Districts, the boundaries of which differ somewhat from those of the hamlet. The boundaries of the Jericho Post Office vary from both the hamlet and the school district boundaries, including a portion of Jericho in the Westbury ZIP code and a portion of Syosset in the Jericho ZIP code.

The Meadow Brook Club is a private golf club in Jericho, New York, Long Island, New York, United States. From 1894 to 1954 it was part of a hunting club, which soon evolved into a major polo club. After the original grounds were expropriated for urban development, it moved to its present location and became primarily a golf club. The Meadowbrook Polo Club is now a separate entity.

Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School (commonly known as LuHi) is a Christian college preparatory school in Brookville, New York, United States. It was founded and built in 1960 on a 32-acre (13 ha) estate and has a student body of approximately 420 students in grades 6-12, with students coming from more than 50 school districts throughout Long Island and New York City. The school is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools.

Nassau Hall is a historic mansion on the grounds of the Muttontown Preserve in Muttontown, New York. It was built in 1904 for Bronson Winthrop and was known as Muttontown Meadows. It was the first commission of Delano and Aldrich in the area. Its exterior walls were modeled after Mount Vernon, and was on an estate of 183 acres.It was purchased by Lansdell Christie in 1950, who sold it to Nassau County in 1969, becoming the headquarters of the Nassau Parks Conservancy. It was restored in 2010. It is one of three mansions in the Muttontown Preserve, along with the Benjamin Moore Estate, also known as Chelsea, and the destroyed Knollwood Estate.

The Hicksville station is a station on the Main Line and Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road located in Hicksville, New York. It is the busiest station east of Jamaica and Penn Station by combined weekday/weekend ridership. The station is at Newbridge Road (Route 106) and West Barclay Street. It has two island platforms and three tracks. It is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator to each platform from street level. It is served by eight Nassau Inter-County Express routes and two cab services on the ground level of the station.
