Kartal Anatolian High School

Esenkent is an underground station on the M4 line of the Istanbul Metro in Maltepe. CarrefourSA Maltepe Park, also known as Maltepe Park, opened on February 12, 2005, is a modern shopping mall in Cevizli neighborhood of Maltepe district in Istanbul, Turkey. The shopping mall is owned by CarrefourSA, a joint venture of French retail giant Carrefour with the Turkish Sabancı Holding. The cost of the investment totaled to €80 million. The grand opening was performed by the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The complex, on the highway D.100 eastwards from Istanbul, houses 102 stores, a Carrefour hypermarket (12th of the same brand in Turkey), fast food restaurants and an entertainment center with movie theaters in an area of 71,000 m2 (760,000 sq ft) on three floors. The mall's parking lot has a capacity for 2,500 cars. Around 1,400 service people are employed in the property.

The station is one of three new stations built on the line along with Ataköy and Darıca. Başak station consists of an island platform serving two tracks and a third express track on the south side. The station opened on 13 March 2019, together with phase II of the Marmaray project.

Kartal railway station (Turkish: Kartal istasyonu) is a railway station in Kartal, Istanbul. The station was a stop on the Haydarpaşa suburban between 1951 and 2013, when the railway between Haydarpaşa and Pendik was closed. The station reopened to Marmaray commuter rail service on 12 March 2019. Prior to 2012, Kartal station was also a stop on the popular Adapazarı Express regional rail service to Adapazarı.

Kartal Surp Nişan Armenian Church (Holy Cross Armenian Church) is an Armenian Church located in Kartal Municipality, Istanbul. The facility was built in the 16th century as a chapel. It collapsed and was rebuilt as a school and church in 1776. Since 1857, the church was renewed. It has been in service since 1 September 1857.The church is a property of Kartal Surp Nişan Armenian Church and School Foundation.

Kartal Park (Turkish: Kartal Parkı) is an urban public park in Kartal district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is owned by the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul. The park features artificial mist accompanied with colorful light effects and classical music attracting local residents in hot summer days. Kartal Park is located alongside Turgut Özal Boulevard on the seashore of Sea of Marmara in Kartal district in Istanbul, Turkey. Owned by the Metropolitan Municipality is of Istanbul, the urban public park covers a total area of 7,583 m2 (81,620 sq ft). It as developed in two stages by adding a green area of 2,857 m2 (30,750 sq ft) later to the initial park with 4,723 m2 (50,840 sq ft) area.72 palm trees are planted to both sides of the park, and 12 different seasonal flower vegetation decorates the park. Architectural structures of the park are arcades flanking the walk ways and long pools.
