Grant High School (Los Angeles)

The Great Wall of Los Angeles is a mural designed by Judith Baca and executed with the help of over 400 community youth and artists coordinated by the Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC). The mural, on the concrete sides of the Tujunga Wash in the San Fernando Valley was Baca's first mural and SPARC's first public art project. Under the official title of The History of California, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Monarch Stadium is a 6,000-seat multipurpose stadium in Valley Glen, California on the campus of Los Angeles Valley College. It was built in 1951, and has always been the home of the college's Monarchs football, soccer and track and field teams. Grant High School, which is adjacent to Valley College, also plays its home football and soccer games here. It also hosts its track meetings at the stadium though that activity has been curtailed since the school dropped its track and field program. The stadium was remodeled in 2006 and also hosts other sporting events and community events. Scenes from the Clueless episode "Homecoming Queen" were filmed here.

Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) is a public community college in Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Los Angeles Community College District.The college is adjacent to Grant High School in the neighborhood of Valley Glen. Often called "Valley College" or simply "Valley" by those who frequent the campus, it opened its doors to the public on September 12, 1949, at which time the campus was located on the site of Van Nuys High School. The college moved to its current location in 1951, a 105-acre (42 ha) site bounded by Fulton Avenue on the west, Ethel Avenue/Coldwater Canyon Boulevard on the east, Burbank Boulevard on the south, and Oxnard Street on the north. Los Angeles Valley College is one of nine colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges.The sports teams are the Monarchs and the school colors are green and yellow.

Valley College station is a station on the G Line of the Los Angeles Metro Busway system. It is named after the adjacent Los Angeles Valley College. The station is in the Valley Glen district of the City of Los Angeles, located on Burbank Boulevard and Fulton Avenue, in the eastern San Fernando Valley.

Valley Torah High School is an Orthodox Jewish high school located in Valley Village, California. The school has two separate divisions (in different buildings and locations): a Boys Division, and a Girls Division. The current Rosh Yeshiva is Rabbi Avraham Stulberger. Valley Torah is hashkafically aligned with the Chofetz Chaim school of thought, which is a subset of Litvishe Haredi Judaism rooted in the Musar movement of 19th-century Lithuanian Jewry.

It is named after adjacent Woodman Avenue, which travels north-south and crosses the east-west busway route. The station is in the Valley Glen district of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley. The station is located next to Oxnard Street, and east of Woodman Avenue.

North Hollywood Medical Center (Medical Center of North Hollywood) was a hospital, operating from 1952 to 1998, in the community of North Hollywood, a district in the San Fernando Valley region of the city of Los Angeles. The hospital is famed as the filming location, from 2001 to 2008, of the multiple award-winning hospital comedy television show Scrubs. Located at 12629 Riverside Drive, the building was demolished in mid-2011. In February 2013, IMT Residential opened a new apartment complex on the site.

Valley Plaza was a shopping center in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, one of the first in the San Fernando Valley, opened in 1951. In the mid-1950s it claimed to be the largest shopping center on the West Coast of the United States and the third-largest in the country. It was located along Laurel Canyon Boulevard from Oxnard to Vanowen, and west along Victory Boulevard. Like its competitor Panorama City Shopping Center to the north, Valley Plaza started with one core development and grew over time to market, under the single name "Valley Plaza", a collection of adjacent retail developments with multiple developers, owners, and opening dates.
