The Stephen Miller House, also known as the Van Wyck-Miller House, is located along the NY 23 state highway in Claverack, New York, United States. It is a wooden farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is representative of the type of house built by a successful businessman of that region and time period, combining the Federal style with Dutch Colonial elements common in earlier houses in the region. It has remained relatively intact with some later additions. In 1997 it and five other buildings on the ashery Miller ran were listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The George Felpel House is located on NY 9H in Claverack-Red Mills, New York, United States. It is a stone Colonial Revival and Dutch Colonial Revival house built in the 1920s. Its stones are the remnants of Claverack College, which existed on the property from 1779 to 1902. Local architect Henry Mouls designed it in Colonial revival style, with some aspects of genuine Colonial architecture from the region. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The town name in English was derived from the Dutch word Klaverakker, meaning "Clover Fields" or "Clover Reach". The Jacob P. Mesick House is located on Van Wyck Lane in Claverack-Red Mills, New York, United States. It is a wooden house in the Greek Revival architectural style built in the mid-19th century. It is a strong example of that style in the region that has remained intact since its construction, with its original front facade restored in the early 20th century. Jacob Mesick, its builder and first resident, was a prosperous local farmer who later went into politics. The house has remained in family hands. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Claverack Free Library is located on NY 23B near the center of the hamlet of Claverack-Red Mills, New York, United States. It is located in the renovated former A.B. Shaw Firehouse. The library itself formally dates to 1891. It had been in several buildings before the expansion of nearby NY 9H forced it to move a short distance west to its current building. In 1998 the library building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Shaw Bridge, also known as Double-Span Whipple Bowstring Truss Bridge, is a historic bridge in Claverack, New York, United States. It carried Van Wyck Lane over Claverack Creek, but is now closed to all traffic, even pedestrians. It is "a structure of outstanding importance to the history of American engineering and transportation technology." Specifically designed by John D. Hutchinson, the bridge employs the basic design of Squire Whipple. It is the only extant "double" Whipple bowstring truss bridge in the U.S., having two identical spans placed in series over a common pier.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Since then its wooden deck has deteriorated to the point where it cannot be used even by pedestrians, and it has been closed.

It combines aspects of that style found in urban and rural houses, and has a richly detailed interior that remains intact. In 1997 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Rev. Dr. Elbert S. Porter House, also known as "Oakledge," is a historic home located at Claverack in Columbia County, New York. It was built in 1846, and is a Greek Revival–style residence. It is a 2-story, three-by-two-bay, side entry frame dwelling with a single-storied square-columned porch spanning the facade. The 2-story main block is flanked by small single-story wings.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
