The Church of St. Mary is a former Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at White Plains Road at 215th Street in Williamsbridge, Bronx, New York City, New York. The church served the Williamsbridge area along with a parish school on East 215th Street, and later in the 1950s was closed and relocated to Carpenter Avenue and East 224th Street to accommodate the growing student population and shift of parishioners. The parish church was closed down when the influx of Jamaicans changed the demographics of the community in the 1990s, reducing the Catholic population to a point where the Archdiocese of New York could no longer support a Catholic parish in the area.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception is a Roman Catholic parish church under the authority of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 754 Gun Hill Road, Williamsbridge, Bronx, New York City, New York. The parish was established in 1902–1903. The parish is currently run by Capuchin friars. The third pastor (appointed in 1906), the Rev. Contantino Cassaneti was chaplain on the public work of the Croton Dam, and had the temporary chapels of St. Michael and St. Mary's erected at Peekskill Quarry, New York, on the suggestion of the contractor and builder J. J. Coleman.

Williamsbridge is a neighborhood geographically located in the north-central portion of the Bronx in New York City. Located in the Bronx at the intersection of Gun Hill and White Plains Roads, it is served by the 2 train at all times and by the 5 train during rush hours in the peak direction; limited a.m. rush hour 5 trains from Manhattan also terminate at this station in the northbound direction only.

Williams Bridge station (also known as Williams Bridge–East 210th Street station) is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line, serving the Williamsbridge and Norwood sections of the Bronx, New York City. It is 10.5 miles (16.9 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time there is approximately 24 minutes. The station is located at the intersection of Gun Hill Road and Webster Avenue. Due to its short platform length, only the doors of four cars can open for passengers. The station is located in the Zone 2 Metro-North fare zone.

Magenta Playground is a 1.21-acre (0.49-hectare) park in the Allerton section of The Bronx. It includes basketball and handball courts, a children's play area with a climbable seal sculpture, spray shower, and restrooms. Most of these were installed during a 1998 renovation.The land for the park was acquired by New York City via condemnation in 1960, and opened as a park in 1966. The park is adjacent to Bronx PS 41 and is operated jointly by NYC Parks and the NYC Department of Education. It is within Bronx City Council District 12. The name Magenta Playground dates to 1987, when the park was renamed.

Lavelle School for the Blind (LSB) is a private school for the blind in Baychester, Bronx, New York City. The Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt operate the school. It has grades Kindergarten through 13, with one more than most U.S. school systems, and it serves ages 3-21. Its namesake is Monsignor Lavelle. It receives funding from the New York State Education Department.

210th Street–Williamsbridge, signed as Williamsbridge–210th Street, was the penultimate station on the demolished IRT Third Avenue Line in the Bronx, New York City. It had three tracks and two side platforms. It was also in close proximity to Williamsbridge station of the New York and Harlem Railroad, which is today a station on the Metro-North Harlem Line. The next stop to the south was 204th Street. The next stop to the railroad north (compass east) was the lower level at Gun Hill Road under the IRT White Plains Road Line. The station opened on October 4, 1920, and closed on April 29, 1973.
