Hvidovre station is a station on the Taastrup radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located about 1 km north of the old village of Hvidovre, in the far northwestern corner in Hvidovre municipality. The station thus also serves areas in the neighbouring Rødovre and Copenhagen municipalities, whereas the larger part of Hvidovre municipality is actually better served by stations on the Køge radial.

Vigerslev is a working-class neighborhood and is part of Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark. The area is dominated by a large industrial zone, apartment buildings (5–6 floors) and few single-family houses. The area is connected with F-train (Vigerslev Allé station).

Hvidovre Church, located just west of Hvidovre Torv in Hvidovre, is one of the oldest churches in the Greater Copenhagen area and the oldest building in Hvidovre Municipality.

A Mother (Danish: En moder) is a sculpture created by Danish sculptor Hans Peder Pedersen-Dan in 1908. A bronze cast of the sculpture was installed outside Hvidovre Rytterskole on Hvidovrevej in Hvidovre in 2005. Pedersen-Dan and his wife Johanne Pedersen-Dan lived and worked in the building for more than 20 years. They are buried at the adjacent Hvidovre Cemetery.

Damhustorvet is a larger traffic hub and small business district in south-eastern Rødovre, immediately before the border to Copenhagen. It is served by 8 bus lines, and has two supermarkets, pizzeria, a bicycle store, an outdoor shop, butcher, bakery, convenience store, barber, real estate agent, a kebab parlor and lastly a motorcycle dealership. The area is located adjacent to Damhussøen and Roskildevej. It is served by bus lines 6A, 13, 21, 22, 132 and 93N.

Damhus Lake (Danish: Damhussøen or Damhus Sø) is a lake located just north of Roskildevej, between Rødovre, Vanløse and Frederiksberg, on the western outskirts of inner Copenhagen, Denmark. Damhus Meadow (Danish: Damhusengen), once a part of the lake, is located on the north side of the lake.

The Nusrat Jahan Mosque or The Nusrat Djahan Moske is an Ahmadiyya Mosque built on the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark in Hvidovre. The Nusrat Jahan mosque is the first mosque to be built in Denmark in 1967. This mosque was financed solely by the female members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Denmark. The capacity of the mosque is 120 people.The mosque is named after Nusrat Jahan Begum, the second wife of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, The Promised Messiah and Mahdi.

Hvidovre Kommune is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Region Hovedstaden near Copenhagen on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 22 km2, and has a total population of 53,443 (1. January 2023). Its mayor is Anders Wolf Andresen, a member of the Green Left (Socialistisk Folkeparti) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Hvidovre. Other towns in the municipality are Avedøre and Friheden. Neighboring municipalities are Copenhagen to the east, Rødovre to the north, and Brøndby to the west. Part of its eastern border are the waters of Kalveboderne, and to the south is Køge Bay (Køge Bugt). The southernmost section of the municipality, known as Avedøre Holme, juts out into Køge Bay and forms part of the entryway into Kalveboderne, the waters of which separate the island of Zealand from neighboring Amager. Avedøre Holme houses two harbours.

Danshøj station is an S-train junction between Vestbanen and Ringbanen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Opened on 8 January 2005, it serves mainly as an interchange station between B and F.The station was in the project phase of Ringbanen originally intended to be known as Harrestrup. Due to public comments, however, the name was definitively changed to Danshøj.

Ålholm station is a commuter rail railway station serving the northwestern part of the district of Valby in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located on the Ring Line of Copenhagen's S-train network. The station opened on 8 January 2005 where Roskildevej crosses the railway line.

Valby Gasworks was a former gasworks between Vigerslev Allé og Retortvej in the Copenhagen suburb of Valby. It was one of Denmark's largest gasworks, with a total area of 270.000 m2. It produced coal gas between 1907 and 1963, and from then on was used just for gas storage. In 1964 the works was destroyed by a powerful gas explosion, causing many injuries and serious damage to the surrounding suburb. The explosion featured in an episode of the series Danmarks katastrofer (Denmark's disasters) by DR.

Rødovre station is a commuter rail railway station serving the suburbs of Rødovre and Hvidovre west of Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is located on the boundary between Rødovre and Hvidovre municipalities and serves parts of either. It is located on the Taastrup radial of Copenhagen's S-train network.
