Oud-Heverlee (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌʌu̯tˈɦeːvərleː]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the villages of Blanden, Haasrode, Oud-Heverlee proper, Sint-Joris-Weert and Vaalbeek. On January 1, 2018, Oud-Heverlee had a total population of 11,099. The total area is 31.14 km2 which gives a population density of 356 inhabitants per km2.

Bertem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbɛrtɛm]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. The municipality comprises the towns of Bertem proper, Korbeek-Dijle and Leefdaal. On January 1, 2006, Bertem had a total population of 9,215. The total area is 29.75 km² which gives a population density of 310 inhabitants per km². The area is noted for its rural landscape, in particular the "Koeheide" and "Bertembos" ("Bertem Forest"). On the open plains of Leefdaal, it is possible to see the endangered European Hamster (Cricetus cricetus)). The village of Bertem itself is home to the Sint-Pieters-Bandenkerk, a romanesque church built between 950 and 1050. Known cyclist Vlad van Mechelen is from there.

The Evangelical Theological Institute (Dutch: Evangelische Theologische Faculteit, Leuven, abbreviated as ETF) is an interdenominational Evangelical Institute in Leuven, Flanders, Belgium. The ETF offers four degree programs: a Dutch-taught Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies program, an English-taught Master of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies program, a Dutch-taught Teacher's degree program, and an English PhD program. Moreover, the ETF also offers a Bachelor's and Master's part-time program named ETF Open University.

The Arenberg Research-Park is a science park founded by the KU Leuven in 2004. The science park is in the immediate vicinity of the Arenberg campus of the university in Heverlee (Belgium), UZ Leuven campus Gasthuisberg and IMEC. The park is 13 hectares and consists of different cluster-areas, with amongst others a bio-incubator for spin-offs of the university and space for companies active in research and development.

Vaalbeek is part of Oud-Heverlee in Flemish Brabant, Belgium. The municipality further comprises the villages of Blanden, Haasrode, Oud-Heverlee proper and Sint-Joris-Weert. On 1 January 2006, Vaalbeek had a total population of 363.

Arenberg Castle (Dutch: Kasteel van Arenberg, French: Château d'Arenberg) is a château in Heverlee close to Leuven in Belgium. It is surrounded by a park.

St John Berchmans University College, locally known as Jezuietenhuis or Lerkeveld, is an educational institution run by the European Low Countries Province of the Society of Jesus in Heverlee, outside Leuven. It was built in 1958 by Jos Ritzen, who worked with Alphons Boosten. It began as a philosophy and theology college for the Jesuits and housed their archives.

Heverlee (Dutch: [ˈɦeːvərleː] (listen)) is a town in Belgium. It is a borough of the city of Leuven. Heverlee is bordered by Herent, Bertem, Oud Heverlee and several other municipalities that are part of Leuven (including Leuven proper and Kessel-Lo). The town is the location of the Heverlee War Cemetery for Commonwealth casualties from the Second World War.

The Lemmensinstituut (Lemmens Institute) is a Belgian conservatory of music. It was founded in Mechelen, in 1879, by the Belgian bishops as the École de musique religieuse (School of Religious Music). It was later renamed after its first director, Jacques-Nicolas Lemmens. Although its programs were greatly expanded over the years, it remained in essence a school of religious music until the 1960s and 1970s, when major changes occurred. It moved to Leuven in 1968, and its programs were aligned on those of Belgium's conservatories of music, such that in 1971 its "laureate" diploma was considered legally equivalent to a "First Prize" of a conservatory. It also added a teacher's training course (a "Music Pedagogy" course of study), and a high school specializing in music. Nowadays the Lemmensinstituut has a reputation for offering one of Europe's finest Music Therapy degree programs. The institute's Music Pedagogy course of study is also well known in Europe and in its history the Lemmens Institute has trained many famous composers including Jan van der Roost and Piet Swerts. In addition to the Music Education degree programs, the institute also offers a teaching degree in Drama. The Hortus Botanicus Lovaniensis (Dutch: Kruidtuin) is a botanical garden in Leuven, Belgium, dating from 1738. It is situated in the city centre and has an extent of 2.2 hectares.
