Awdry Vaucour

Lieutenant Alfred John Haines (1898 – 10 August 1918) was a British World War I flying ace credited with six aerial victories.

The Villa Forni Cerato is a 16th-century villa in Montecchio Precalcino, Province of Vicenza, northern Italy. Its design is attributed to Andrea Palladio and his client is assumed to have been Girolamo Forni, a wealthy wood merchant who supplied building material for a number of the Palladio's projects. The attribution to Palladio is partly based on stylistic grounds, although the building departs from the Palladian norms.

Montecchio Precalcino is a town and comune in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. It is situated on the west side of the Astico creek. The main attraction is the patrician Villa Forni Cerato, attributed by some scholars to Andrea Palladio.

Diesel USA filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March 2019. Its parent company, Diesel SpA, was not part of the bankruptcy filing. Belgian designer Glenn Martens was appointed artistic director of Diesel in October 2020.

Villa Porto is a patrician villa in Vivaro di Dueville, province of Vicenza, northern Italy, designed in 1554 and traditionally attributed to the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, but not included by UNESCO in the strict list of Palladian Villas of Veneto within the World Heritage Site City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto.

Villa Valmarana (also known as Valmarana Bressan) is a patrician villa at Vigardolo, Monticello Conte Otto, in the province of Vicenza, in northern Italy. The building is attributed to Andrea Palladio on the basis of an extant drawing of the villa that is undoubtedly by the architect. The villa was constructed during the 1540s, and is one of Palladio's earlier works. It was commissioned by two cousins of the Valmarana family. The layout of the rooms suggests that Palladio's mandate was to provide accommodation for two nuclear families. The design also shows the influence of buildings from antiquity, which Palladio had seen on his first visit to Rome in 1541. The villa is decorated with frescoes, some of which date from the 16th century; they are more or less contemporaneous with the original occupation of the building. In 1996, UNESCO included the building in the World Heritage Site named "City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto".
