Saint Peter's Church (Swedish: Sankt Petri kyrka) is a Brick Gothic church in Malmö, Sweden. Built in the 14th century as the main church of the city, it has been described as "the main Gothic monument within church architecture in Skåne". The church was a spiritual centre during the Reformation, and was one of only a few churches in what was at the time medieval Denmark that suffered damage due to iconoclasm as a consequence of the Reformation. St. Peter's Church contains late medieval murals of recognized high quality, as well as a number of unusual furnishings. The altarpiece, made in 1611, is one of the largest in the Nordic countries.

Gamla staden ("Old town") is a neighbourhood of Malmö, situated in the city district of Centrum, Malmö Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden.

Bo01 (also known as the "City of Tomorrow") is a neighborhood in the southern city of Malmö, Sweden known for its sustainable development and design. Bo01 began as part of the European Housing Exposition in 2001 and served as a prototype to help later design Västra hamnen. Today, Bo01 is known for its holistic approach to incorporate sustainable design into high-quality living and serves as one of the first Swedish models for sustainable urban planning.Designed by an urban designer, Klas Tham, Bo01 is the first neighborhood in the world to declare that 100% of its energy is sourced entirely from renewable sources. The name Bo01 stems from the Swedish verb "Bo" meaning "to dwell," and 01, short for 2001. The most notable building built for Bo01 was the Turning Torso skyscraper, which became the tallest residential building in Scandinavia. It was however not completed in time for the start of the housing exposition, and was completed later in 2005.

Stortorget (transl. "The Main Square", lit. "The Big Square") is a square in Malmö. Construction began in 1538 with the demolition of The Monastery of the Holy Spirit (Heligandsklostret), which with its cemetery occupied about 70% of the area of the future square. A note in 1542 refers to the site as thet ny torg ("the new square"). The stately Malmö Town Hall (Rådhuset), the largest of its kind in the Nordic countries at the time, located on the eastern side of the square, was inaugurated in 1547. At Stortorget are The Governor's Residence, Malmö Town Hall, Jørgen Kock's House, the Kramer Hotel, and The Lion Pharmacy (Apoteket Lejonet). In the middle of the square stands an equestrian statue of King Charles X Gustav, sculpted by John Börjeson and created in connection with the Craft and Industry Exhibition in Malmö in 1896. The statue was initiated by the newspaperman and politician Carl Herslow and the history professor Martin Weibull. Stortorget has historically been Malmö's most central square, but with the electrification of the tramway, this role was increasingly taken over by Gustav Adolf's square. Stortorget was served by horsecars in 1887–1907, horse-drawn buses in 1898-1907 and electric trams in 1906–1957. Just southwest of Stortorget is Lilla torg, and about 250 m straight south (along Södergatan) is Gustav Adolfs torg. As a curiosity, the meridian 13° east passes through Stortorget, which means that its mean solar time is exactly (if you are standing in the right place) eight minutes behind Central European Time (i.e. Swedish Standard Time).

Adelgatan was, together with Östergatan and Västergatan, Malmö's main street from the Middle Ages. During the Middle Ages there were two Adelgatan's. The elder ran from west to east direction parallel to the beach only a stone's throw from it. It was called in 1392 in Latin "Communis magna platea". It was the city's oldest street, which probably existed as a narrow road even before the city's emergence in 1250s. Today this route is in the Malmöhus Castle area leading up to Drottningtorget. The second Adelgatan was the main street in the early 14th century which ran perpendicular to the former further south. This was called "Sönnergaatan" in 1462 and "Then syndre Adelgade" in 1522. " They formed grand squares and had boundary markers consisting of standing stones. Such a stone was the "Tunneln", one at the current Caroli Church and the last at the junction of Skomakaregatan and Södergatan. Trade with the peasants during the Middle Ages were only allowed inside the marked square areas.

Hotel Savoy is a historic hotel in Malmö, Sweden, now owned by Elite Hotels. The hotel is located opposite to Malmö Central Station.

Malmö Central Station (Swedish: Malmö centralstation) is a railway station on the Southern Main Line in Malmö, Sweden, opened in 1856. It serves approximately 17 million passengers per year.With the opening of the City Tunnel in 2010, the station began through services connecting south to Copenhagen via the Öresund Line, to stations north on the Southern Main Line, saving at least 15 minutes for through passengers.

Lilla Torg ("Little Square") is a square in Gamla Staden (the Old Town) in central Malmö, Sweden. It is located right next to Stortorget. There are a number of restaurants around the square and in the summer it is full of people on the outdoor terraces. The municipality used to build a skating rink on the square, but this has now been moved to Stortorget.

Gustav Adolfs torg is a public square located in Malmö, Sweden. The square is named after Swedish king Gustav IV Adolf, who was resident in Malmö between 1806 and 1807. The square has served as a central point for public transit since the trams were moved there in 1906-1907, and continues to serve as one today for the city bus network of Malmö.

Caroli Church is a former church in Malmö, Sweden. It was built in 1880. The church is named after king Charles XI of Sweden. The first Caroli Church was built in 1680, in the same place as the current building. The church was also known as "The German Church" and the services was held in the German language for the German merchants and craftsmen of Malmö.It was deconsecrated in 2010.

Slagthuset was opened at the beginning of the 1990s as an office and entertainment complex in Nyhamnen in Malmö consisting of an office hotel, office premises, theater, discotheque and restaurant. The name comes from the fact that the main building in the years 1904-69 was a municipal slaughterhouse. The building complex was designed by the city architect in Malmö Salomon Sörensen. The thirteen-storey office building, "Malmö Slagthus", which was completed in 1993, is part of the Slagthus complex. The architect for the high-rise building and the rebuilding of the slaughterhouse was Ahlsén & Lindström architects. Mindpark Malmö City AB runs coworking, meeting and event activities in parts of the high-rise building. The property is owned by Wihlborgs. In 2021, it was decided that Totte Lundgren, who owns Kulturbolaget and Hans Palm, would have started Nyhamnen Nöje & Events and taken over the operations at Slagthuset after it was officially closed in March 2021.

The Central Post Office Building, Malmö, Sweden, designed by Ferdinand Boberg and built between 1904 and 1906. It is a building in the style of Romantic nationalism, popular in the years around 1900. Inspired by the Brick Gothic from the middle ages, common especially in the cities around the Baltic Sea. The unusually large cupolas of the two towers is a detail that caused some debate at the time. Boberg was pleased with how this building turned out and commented in a letter from 1907 that it was perhaps his best work. The top floor was given an added row of windows in 1944 designed by Erik Lallerstedt. It became a listed building in 1935and was restored and modernized between 2006 and 2020.
