Milo is a town in Yates County, New York, United States. The population was 7,006 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Milo of Croton, a famous athlete from Ancient Greece.The Town of Milo is on the eastern border of the county and borders Penn Yan.

The district is located along a seven-mile recreational trail (the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail) that parallels the Keuka Lake Outlet. The district includes several mill sites along the gorge. It also includes nine areas that contain surface and subsurface archaeological remains.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Sampson Theatre is a historic theater building located at Penn Yan in Yates County, New York. It was built in 1910, and is a three-story, poured in place, concrete building. It measures 60 feet wide and 100 feet deep and consists of two sections; a front auditorium section and a rear stage section. Both sections are covered by gambrel roofs. The theater was originally used for vaudeville and as a movie theater. In 1929, it was converted for use as a miniature golf course, and later was used as a warehouse for tires.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The district consists of 65 acres (26 ha) and contains 281 structures, 210 of which are contributing. It includes a broad range of architecturally significant resources that document the village's development from the 1820s to 1929. Highlights include the Birkett Mills, the Chronicle Building, Knapp Hotel, and the Castner House. Located within the boundaries of the district are the separately listed Yates County Courthouse Park District and the U.S. Post Office building (1912–1913).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

US Post Office-Penn Yan is a historic post office building located at Penn Yan in Yates County, New York. It was designed and built in 1912–1913 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, James Knox Taylor. It is a symmetrically massed, 1+1⁄2-story red brick structure on a granite-clad raised basement in the Colonial Revival style. It is a contributing element in the Penn Yan Historic District. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Himrod Junction is a railroad junction located in the town of Himrod, New York. It currently is where the Finger Lakes Railway accesses Norfolk Southerns's Corning Secondary line. Finger Lakes Railway uses trackage rights over Norfolk Southern's Corning Secondary from Geneva to Himrod Junction to access its branch line which spans from Penn Yan in the north to Watkins Glen, New York in the south.

Young-Leach Cobblestone Farmhouse and Barn Complex is a historic home located at Torrey in Yates County, New York. The farmhouse was built about 1836 and is a large late Federal / early Greek Revival style cobblestone structure. It is built of variously colored and shaped field cobbles. The farmhouse is among the nine surviving cobblestone buildings in Yates County. The barn complex includes two barns, a shed, machine shed, and a corn crib.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
