The Toronto Congress Centre (TCC) is an event, meeting and trade show complex in the former city of Etobicoke in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located near Toronto Pearson International Airport. It has over one million square feet (93,000 m2) of exhibition space between two buildings, making it one of the largest facilities of its kind in Canada and North America. Built in 1995, the Toronto Congress Centre has 60 meeting rooms, two ballrooms (one being pillar-free) and ten divisible exhibit halls. The convention centre is HACCP certified and is one of the only trade and convention facilities in North America to receive this certification, denoting the highest standards in food preparation safety. Their cuisine is prepared in-house by their 5-star Executive Chef and culinary team. Parking is currently free for all attendees. The TCC opened in 1995 as the largest in Canada, with close to 500,000 square feet (46,000 m2) of exhibit space. However, it was surpassed by the Enercare Centre 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) in 1997, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (600,000 square feet (56,000 m2)) in 1997 and the International Centre (548,000 square feet (50,900 m2) in 2002), following various expansions and renovations at those venues. The TCC has since expanded its exhibit space to over one million sq. ft with the addition of a second building (a vacant industrial building purchased in 2006), north of the current building (referred to as the North Building). In February 2021, it was announced a site at the centre has been prepared as a large-scale clinic for distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine during the COVID-19 pandemic in Toronto.

CSA publishes standards in print and electronic form, and provides training and advisory services. CSA is composed of representatives from industry, government, and consumer groups. CSA began as the Canadian Engineering Standards Association (CESA) in 1919, federally chartered to create standards. During World War I, lack of interoperability between technical resources led to the formation of a standards committee. CSA is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada, a crown corporation which promotes voluntary standardization in Canada. This accreditation verifies that CSA is competent to carry out standards development and certification functions, and is based on internationally recognised criteria and procedures.The CSA registered mark shows that a product has been independently tested and certified to meet recognized standards for safety or performance.

Etobicoke North GO Station is a GO Transit train and bus station on the Kitchener line in the Etobicoke district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 1949 Kipling Avenue just north of Belfield Road, close to the junction of Highways 401 and 409.

CJSA-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 101.3 MHz in Toronto, Ontario. The station broadcasts in 22 languages reaching a majority of the South Asian audience. True to its name, "Canadian Multicultural Radio", CJSA serves well over 16 cultural and ethnic groups. CJSA's studios are located on Rexdale Boulevard in Etobicoke, while its transmitter is located atop First Canadian Place. The station's programming primarily targets South Asian communities, with programming in languages including Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Macedonian (Voice of Macedonia), Malayalam (Madhurageetham), Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Sinhalese, Somali, Tamil, Tagalog (FilTown Radio), Telugu (Morning Raaga), Tibetan, Twi and Urdu (Radio Pakistan Toronto).CJSA signed on in 2004, adopting a frequency formerly used by CHIN as a rebroadcaster to fill in reception gaps. CHIN's FM rebroadcaster now airs on 91.9 FM. The CJSA call sign also formerly belonged to a tourist information station in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec. Operated by the town's chamber of commerce, that station voluntarily surrendered its broadcast license in 2002. The former CJSA has no relation to the current CJSA-FM in Toronto. In December 2013, CJSA signed on HD Radio operations. CJSA airs Tamil language programming on their HD-2 subchannel. CJSA is the second Canadian radio station to use the technology, the first being CING-FM in Hamilton. The station has stated in a letter to the CRTC that it is interested in broadcasting up to 5 HD Radio subchannels, each of a different language for a different ethnic population (HD2 being Tamil, HD3 being Punjabi, HD4 being Hindi and Urdu, or Aboriginal/First Nations, and HD5 being data transmission).

Kingsview Village is a neighbourhood in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the north end of the former city of Etobicoke, and is bounded on the north by Highway 401, on the east by the Humber River and St. Phillips Road, on the south by Dixon Road. It is relatively close to Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, and TTC bus routes connect it to the rest of the city.

The Sringeri Sharadamba Temple of Toronto (Kannada: ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಶಾರದಾಂಬೆ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಟೊರೊಂಟೊ), (Telugu: టొరొంటో శృంగేరి శారదా పీఠం), (Tamil: ஸ்ரிங்கேரி ேகாவில்) is a Hindu temple located in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Sharadamba. It is more popularly known as SVBF Canada or Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation Canada. The temple is modelled after the original 8th-century Sringeri Sharadamba Temple located at Sringeri in Chikkamagaluru District in Karnataka, India.

Kipling Collegiate Institute (Kipling CI, KCI, or Kipling) is a public high school in the Etobicoke area of Toronto, Ontario, Canada under the management of the Etobicoke Board of Education (now merged into the Toronto District School Board) since 1960.

The Toronto West Detention Centre was a maximum security remand facility located in Rexdale, a community located in the north-west corner of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The facility was known as the Metropolitan Toronto West Detention Centre until Rexdale, as part of the City of Etobicoke, became part of the newly amalgamated City of Toronto in 1998. With a designed capacity for 631 prisoners, the Toronto West Detention Centre housed adult males who had been remanded into custody while awaiting trial or sentencing, were serving short sentences, or were awaiting transfer to federal or provincial correctional facilities. Over the years the Toronto West Detention Centre had at times also housed female and juvenile offenders. From October 1997 through January 1999 the facility underwent extensive retrofitting of its security systems using up-to-date technology. The facility has also housed foreign nationals being detained on security certificates. In January 2014 the Toronto South Detention Centre opened to replace the Toronto West Detention Centre and the Toronto Jail (Don Jail). The Toronto Jail was demolished and is now a vacant site situated beside the new hospital facility. Demolition of the Toronto West Detention Centre commenced in December 2016 with a projected finish of February 2017. The 111 Disco road site is slated to become the home of the new Toronto Young Offender Facility.

Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic Secondary School (Monsignor Percy Johnson CSS, MPJCSS, MPJ or Johnson) is a Roman Catholic high school in Rexdale, northern Etobicoke in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board. The school was opened in 1984 at the former Rexdale Junior School before moving to the Heatherbrae Middle School in 1986. It is located next to St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church and Catholic School and was named after Percy Johnson (September 22, 1912 – December 22, 1983), a Catholic priest and member of the former Metropolitan Separate School Board. . The motto of the school is Heart Speaks to Heart.

The Regal Constellation Hotel was a large hotel with focus on trade shows, convention and hospitality training centre near Pearson International Airport near Toronto, Ontario. Built in 1962, the hotel consisted of two 15-floor towers, 6-storey atrium, a Chinese restaurant and 90,000 square feet (8,400 m2) of convention space. Renovations took place in 2001. Once a popular hotel and convention venue, the hotel is no longer operating due to declining business and other setbacks, culminating with the SARS crisis. It was owned by Hong Kong-based Regal Hotels International. In 2004, Hospitality Investors Group (HIG) of Scottsdale, Arizona acquired the site and was planning to add a 350-room hotel to the existing 800-room hotel. Construction was planned to begin in 2005. However, since that acquisition, HIG was broken up and one of its chief officers has formed a new organization, Alatau Hospitality, with the principal shareholders of Lancaster Group of Kazakhstan. Alatau Hospitality retained the domain name of HIG (hospitalityinvestors.com) and its web site does not list this hotel as one of its current construction projects. As of November 2007, it is not clear who owns the property. As of July 15, 2011 Urbacon has been given the contract to fully demolish the old hotel down to the ground. The new owner is Park'N Fly Canada. The building was fully torn down by January 2012.

Rexdale is a neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located north-west of the central core, in the former city of Etobicoke. Rexdale defines an area of several official neighbourhoods north of Highway 401 and east of Highway 427. Rexdale was originally a post World War II residential development within Etobicoke, and today is applied to a general area from Malton and Toronto Pearson International Airport in the City of Mississauga to the west, Highway 401 to the south, Steeles Avenue to the north, and the Humber River to the east. It is centred on Rexdale Boulevard and Islington Avenue.
