It is constructed of load-bearing brick walls, a cast-iron vault, timber framework, and a cast-iron facade on St. Paul St. Originally built to house a patent medicine laboratory and warehouse, it now houses retail and apartments. The building has a Venetian Gothic style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

It features two slender towers with concave roofs, a recessed entrance inside a single-story protruding section, and a semi-circular stained-glass window.: 14, 56, 58 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Cohn Company, Superba Cravats, until 1983. The Andrews Street facade is detailed with Medina sandstone and corbelled brick in Romanesque Revival style. A two-story brick masonry addition was completed about 1955.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The building is known for its circular top, which used to be a 7,000-square-foot (650 m2) revolving restaurant called Changing Scene. That closed in 1990 and the rotating mechanism was dismantled. The space was rented out by local Rochester attorney Christina Agola until she was disbarred over allegations of deceitful conduct.The building is located at 28 East Main Street The building is also home to the studios for the Stephens Media Group radio stations in Rochester. (WFKL, WZNE, and WRMM-FM). In addition to the studios, WZNE and WRMM-FM both maintain an auxiliary (backup) transmitter facility on the top of the building.The building has been used as part of 21 Stories for Scouts, an annual fundraiser for the Boy Scouts of America.

Foster Warner in 1924 and is a five-story structure in the Classical Revival style. The Beaux-Arts decorated building is characterized by precise carved detailing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Talman Building is a historic site at 25 E. Main Street, Rochester, New York, used as an office by Frederick Douglass in editing and publishing the abolitionist journal, The North Star from 1847 to 1863.It was also a stop on the Underground Railroad, and Douglass gave asylum to many traveling fugitives, of which at least one party was led by Harriet Tubman. It is named the Talman Building (also listed as the Talman Hall) after John T. Talman purchased the plot in 1839. The earliest known photograph of the Talman Building is one showing a celebration for the end of the Civil War. The "mansard roof", named after the chief architect of King Louis XIV, Jules Hardouin-Mansard, was added in 1866 and removed in 1915. Its modern appearance comes from its renovation in 1915, reflecting the “Chicago school” influence—one of functionality. The façade was added by the Central Bank of Rochester in 1922. The basement served as a fallout shelter during the Cold War.
