St. Stanislaus Parish (Meriden, Connecticut)

The Curtis Memorial Library, now the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center, is a historic former library building at 175 East Main Street in Meriden, Connecticut. It was designed by New Haven architect Richard Williams in the Classical Revival style, and was completed in 1903. The building was a gift to the city from Augusta Munson Curtis in honor of her husband George, who was one of the city's leading businessmen and onetime mayor. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company (1852–1940) was formed in Meriden, Connecticut, and over the years produced Art Brass tables, call bells, candlestick holders, clocks, match safes, lamps, architectural grilles, railings, etc. Overall the company patented 238 designs and mechanical devices. "By the 1890s, the Bradley and Hubbard name was synonymous with high quality and artistic merit," said Richard E. Stamm for the Smithsonian Institution, which has an extensive collection of Bradley and Hubbard manufactured design objects in its collection.In 1895, in a biography of co-founder Nathaniel Bradley, Henry Hall described Bradley & Hubbard as, "This company has enjoyed almost phenomenal success, and from a small concern, employing only six workmen, it has grown to own and occupy an immense plant of brick buildings, with a floor area of nearly seven acres, employing about 1,500 operatives, with offices and sales rooms in New York, Boston, Chicago and Philadelphia." In 1940, the business was sold to the Charles Parker Company.As of 2016, over 175 Bradley & Hubbard designs are in North American museums and collections, including the Baltimore Museum of Art; the Brooklyn Museum; the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal; Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh; Connecticut Historical Society, The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan; the Historic New England organization in Boston; the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York; the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute in Utica, NY; the Smithsonian in Washington; the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford; and Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven. A customized interior installation by B&H is also situated in the James Blackstone Memorial Library in Branford, CT.In 2006–07, Bradley & Hubbard designs were featured in an exhibition A brass menagerie: Metalwork of the Aesthetic Movement curated by Anna Tobin D'Ambrosio in Utica, NY and New York City. The exhibition was described by a New York Times critic as "One of the small, must-see exhibitions this summer".

Meriden Transit Center is a train station on the New Haven–Springfield Line located in Meriden, Connecticut. It is served by Amtrak's Northeast Regional, Valley Flyer, and Vermonter, in addition to Hartford Line commuter rail service, consisting of Connecticut Department of Transportation and Amtrak trains. The station was rebuilt from 2014 to 2017 for the Hartford Line service, which began on June 16, 2018.

Meriden is a city in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States, located halfway between the regional cities of New Haven and Hartford. The city is part of the South Central Connecticut Planning Region. In 2020, the population of the city was 60,850.

The former U.S. Post Office-Meriden Main, also known as Meriden Main Post Office, is located at 89 Colony Street in Meriden, Connecticut. Built in 1907 and extended in 1932, it is a striking local example of Beaux Arts architecture. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It no longer houses the city's main post office, which is at 190 Center Street.

The Charter Oak Firehouse is a historic former fire station at 105 Hanover Street in Meriden, Connecticut. Built in 1876, it was the first firehouse built in Meriden, and is the oldest surviving municipal building in the city. The firehouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 17, 1994. It has been converted to offices.

The Meriden Curtain Fixture Company Factory is a historic factory complex at 122 Charles Street in Meriden, Connecticut. Built in 1892 for a company founded in 1869, it is a good example of late-19th century industrial architecture, and is notable for its association with Charles Parker, one of the city's leading industrialists of the period. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The complex has been converted to residential use.

Meriden Mall (formerly Meriden Square and Westfield Meriden) is a shopping mall located in Meriden, Connecticut. At almost 900,000 square feet, Meriden is Connecticut's seventh largest mall, housing over 140 shops. This mall currently maintains the traditional divisions of Boscov's and Dick's Sporting Goods, in addition to TJ Maxx, while featuring several prominent traditional specialty retailers, Charlotte Russe, Bath and Body Works, Forever 21 Red, Foot Locker, Torrid, and Windsor.

The Moses Andrews House is a historic house museum at 424 West Main Street in Meriden, Connecticut. Built about 1760, it is one of a small number of surviving 18th-century houses in the city. It has been operated by the local historical society as a museum property since about 1940. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

WBOM (1470 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Meriden, Connecticut, and covering Central Connecticut. The station broadcasts an R&B format, aimed at the Hartford area. The station is owned by Full Power Radio, through Red Wolf Broadcasting Corporation. WBOM's programming is also heard on FM translator W273DS (102.5); the station's branding emphasizes the FM frequency.

The Solomon Goffe House is a historic house museum at 677 North Colony Street in Meriden, Connecticut, United States. It was built in 1711, and is the oldest remaining building in the city of Meriden. It is owned by the city and is open for tours during the summer, or by appointment.
