Yindu Road station

Chunshen Road (Chinese: 春申路; pinyin: Chūnshēn Lù) is an above-ground station on Line 5 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Humin Highway and Chunshen Road in the city's Minhang District, the station opened with the rest of the first phase of Line 5 on 25 November 2003. It is currently served by six-car trains running on the mainline of Line 5 between Xinzhuang and Fengxian Xincheng stations. Between 28 December 2018 and 26 December 2020, passengers who wish to travel to stations on the branch line of Line 5 between Dongchuan Road and Minhang Development Zone stations must transfer to four-car trains at Dongchuan Road station. Since 26 December 2020, both the main and the branch line trains run all the way to Xinzhuang with no shuttle service.

Korean Air Cargo Flight 6316 (KE6316/KAL6316) was a scheduled Korean Air Cargo freight flight from Shanghai to Seoul. On 15 April 1999, the McDonnell Douglas MD-11F operating the route, registered as HL7373, crashed in Xinzhuang, Shanghai shortly after taking off from Hongqiao Airport, killing all 3 crew on board, along with 5 on the ground.

Xinzhuang (simplified Chinese: 莘庄; traditional Chinese: 莘莊; pinyin: Xīnzhuāng) is an interchange station on the Shanghai Metro. It is the southern terminus of Line 1 and the northern terminus of Line 5. It is one of the busiest stations in the Shanghai Metro, serving 230,000 passengers every day. Both Line 1 and Line 5's stations have two side platforms and two tracks, with a wall separating the Line 1 and the Line 5 platforms. The station opened on Line 1 on 28 December 1996, with the Line 5 interchange having opened on 25 November 2003.

Minhang District is a suburban district of Shanghai with a land area of 371.57 km2 (143.46 sq mi) and population of 2,653,489 residents as of 2020. The original Minhang consist of present-day Jiangchuan Road Subdistrict (Former Minhang Town) and the eastern strip of Wujing along the Huangpu River in 1992, the surrounding Shanghai County merged with Minhang. It is mostly a residential district, though it is also home to some of the many factories and production facilities in Shanghai. Residential housing development is the main source of local government revenue. Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena (旗忠森林体育城) is located in Ma Qiao Town (马桥镇). The Aerospace Museum is being constructed at Pujiang Town. Shanghai Jiao Tong University and East China Normal University both have campuses in the southern part of Minhang District.

Xinzhuang (simplified Chinese: 莘庄; traditional Chinese: 莘莊; pinyin: Xīnzhuāng) is a commuter rail station, adjacent to the Xinzhuang Station (Shanghai Metro) an interchange station on the Shanghai Metro. This station is the second station on Jinshan railway. It was built in the first year of Emperor Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty (1909).The station is currently under reconstruction to construct a Xinzhuang comprehensive transportation hub. It is expected to reopen in 2024.

Located at the intersection of Humin Highway and Zhuanxing Road in the city's Minhang District, the station opened with the rest of the first phase of Line 5 on 25 November 2003. Between 28 December 2018 and 26 December 2020, passengers who wish to travel to stations on the branch line of Line 5 between Dongchuan Road and Minhang Development Zone stations must transfer to four-car trains at Dongchuan Road station. Since 26 December 2020, both the main and the branch line trains run all the way to Xinzhuang with no shuttle service.

Shujian Road (Chinese: 曙建路; pinyin: Shǔjiàn Lù) is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Shujian Road and South Lianhua Road in Minhang District, Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 in 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement.

Waihuanlu (simplified Chinese: 外环路; traditional Chinese: 外環路; pinyin: Wàihuán Lù), literally Outer Ring Road, is a station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Metro. This station is part of the southern extension of that line that opened on 28 December 1996, and is located near the crossing of two major elevated highways. This makes the station often used by travelers to and from the southern outskirts of the city.

Jingxi Road (Chinese: 景西路; pinyin: Jǐngxī Lù) is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Jingxi Road and Yindu Road in Minhang District, Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 in 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement.

Chunshen (Chinese: 春申; pinyin: Chūnshēn) is a railway station on the Jinshan railway in Songjiang District, Shanghai. It opened for intercity passenger service on September 28, 2012.

Shuangbai Road (simplified Chinese: 双柏路; traditional Chinese: 雙柏路; pinyin: Shuāngbǎi Lù) is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Shuangbai Road and South Lianhua Road in Minhang District, Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 in 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement. Since Dec. 30, 2021, this station has become the terminal station of short-route trains, in place of West Huajing station.

Shanghai County (simplified Chinese: 上海县; traditional Chinese: 上海縣; pinyin: Shànghǎi Xiàn) was a Chinese county in modern-day Shanghai Municipality. Shanghai County was first established in 1292 and finally abolished in 1992. Shanghai County was for most of its existence a part of Songjiang Prefecture, in Jiangsu Province, but later became a county under Shanghai Municipality. Shanghai County was historically the governing authority of the Shanghai's urban area and neighbouring areas. Its extent reduced with the establishment of the Shanghai Special Municipality and, later, Shanghai Municipality. Immediately before abolition, the county extended over a crescent-shaped area adjacent to, and surrounding, the southwest of Shanghai's city centre.
