Shilong Road station

The Shanghai Botanical Garden (Chinese: 上海植物园) is a botanic garden located in the southwestern suburbs of Shanghai, China, (around 12 km southwest of the city centre) in the Xuhui District. Covering 81.86 hectares, the garden has a renowned penjing garden, as well as collections of magnolias, roses, azaleas, peonies, conifers, maples, osmanthus and bamboo.

Longcao Road (simplified Chinese: 龙漕路; traditional Chinese: 龍漕路; pinyin: Lóngcáo Lù) is an interchange station between Lines 3 and 12 of the Shanghai Metro. The station opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town. The interchange with Line 12 opened on 19 December 2015 when that line was extended southwest from Qufu Road to Qixin Road.

Shanghai South Railway Station (Chinese: 上海南站; pinyin: Shànghǎi Nánzhàn) is an interchange station between Lines 1, 3 and 15 of the Shanghai Metro. It is the southern terminus of Line 3. Both the metro station and the associated railway station were formerly named Xinlonghua (simplified Chinese: 新龙华; traditional Chinese: 新龍華; pinyin: Xīnlónghuá) when Line 1 first opened on 28 May 1993. The interchange with Line 3 opened with the opening of that line on 26 December 2000. The interchange with line 15 opened on 23 January 2021.

Lumina Shanghai (Chinese: 星扬西岸中心; pinyin: xīng yáng xī'àn zhōngxīn), also known as the Henderson Xuhui Tower, is a 61-floor contemporary skyscraper in Xuhui, Shanghai. It was designed by Xiaomei Lee and Raymon Chen of Gensler and built from 2017 to 2021. According to CTBUH, as of March 2024, at 285.1m, it is the tallest building in Xuhui, the seventh-tallest building in Shanghai, 151st-tallest in China, 180th-tallest in Asia, and 288th-tallest in the world. The building has received a LEED Gold pre-certification and a China Green 3-star certification for sustainability.

Caobao Road (simplified Chinese: 漕宝路; traditional Chinese: 漕寶路; pinyin: Cáobǎo Lù) is an interchange station between Line 1 and Line 12 of the Shanghai Metro. This station is part of the initial southern section of the line that opened on 28 May 1993 and is located in Xuhui District. The station became an interchange station with the arrival of Line 12 which entered operation on 19 December 2015. This station has been rumored to be haunted.

Aurora University (French: Université l'Aurore, Chinese: 震旦大學; pinyin: Zhèndàn Dàxué) was a Catholic university in Shanghai from 1903 to 1952.The university was founded on 27 February 1903 by Joseph Ma Xiangbo, S.J. and French Jesuits. In 1905, Ma resigned to establish Fudan University, and Aurora was thereafter run by French Jesuits until the Communist Revolution. From 1908 onwards, it was located in Shanghai's French Concession. "By the 1940s, the institution had grown to become one of the largest, if not the largest, among Shanghai’s private universities and included faculties of Law, Medicine, Sciences, Applied Sciences, and Literature, along with a Preparatory Course,Women’s College, nursing program, dental training, a renowned natural sciences museum (Le Musée Heude), and a number of associated collèges and lycées in Shanghai and other cities throughout Jiangnan."In 1952, Aurora University merged into East China Normal University and Fudan University, while the chemistry department was absorbed by the newly founded East China Institute of Chemical Technology and the medical school joined the Shanghai Second Medical College.

Longyao Road (simplified Chinese: 龙耀路; traditional Chinese: 龍耀路; pinyin: Lóngyào Lù) is a station on Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. It opened on August 31, 2013.The station is located in Longhua Subdistrict, Xuhui District, Shanghai, and is the first station in Puxi when travelling northwest-bound from Pudong.

The Longhua Temple (traditional Chinese: 龍華寺; simplified Chinese: 龙华寺; pinyin: Lónghúa Sì, Shanghainese: Lon-ngu-zy, alternatively Lunghwa Temple; literally "Dragon Flower Temple") is a Buddhist temple dedicated to the Maitreya Buddha in Shanghai. Although most of the present day buildings date from later reconstructions, the temple preserves the architectural design of a Song dynasty (960–1279) monastery of the Chan School. It is the largest, most authentic and complete ancient temple complex in the city of Shanghai.

Longhua (simplified Chinese: 龙华; traditional Chinese: 龍華; pinyin: Lónghuá) is an interchange station between Line 11 and Line 12 of the Shanghai Metro. It opened on 31 August 2013 as a station for Line 11. On 19 December 2015, the section of Line 12 including this station opened.

Yunjin Road (simplified Chinese: 云锦路; traditional Chinese: 雲錦路; pinyin: Yúnjǐn Lù) is a station on Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro, which opened on August 31, 2013.The station is located on Yunjin Road in Longhua District, Xuhui District, Shanghai.

Longhua Pagoda (龙华塔) is an octagonal wood and brick pagoda located in Xuhui District, Shanghai, East China. It is thought to have been first built during the Three Kingdoms Period (East Wu), but the existing tower structure was built during the Northern Song dynasty. The pagoda underwent several renovations over various dynastic periods, which resulted in the addition of several architectural features that were not in the typical style of the Song dynasty. After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, these later additions were removed and rebuilt in the Song dynasty style. Because of this, the pagoda has now been largely restored to its original appearance. The pagoda was twice established as a Shanghai Cultural Site Under State Protection, once on 26 May 1959 and again on 7 December 1997. On 25 May 2006, it was declared by the State Council to be among the sixth group of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level.

Lunghua Civil Assembly Centre was one of the internment camps established by the Empire of Japan in Shanghai for European and American citizens, who had been resident under Japanese occupation since December 1941. Many had formerly lived in Shanghai within the Shanghai International Settlement before its occupation by the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA). British author J. G. Ballard was interned in the camp as an adolescent. His experiences there inspired the semi-auto biographical novel Empire of the Sun, which inspired the 1987 motion picture.
