XEPRS (1090 kHz) is an AM commercial radio station licensed to Playas de Rosarito, a suburb of Tijuana in Baja California, Mexico. It broadcasts a Spanish Christian radio format. The station can be heard across the San Diego-Tijuana, Los Angeles-Orange County, Riverside-San Bernardino and areas of Southern California. XEPRS is a Class A, 50,000-watt clear-channel station using a non-directional antenna in the daytime. Because it must protect other Class A stations on 1090 AM, it uses a three-tower array directional antenna at night. The transmitter is just off Mexican Federal Highway 1D in Fraccionamiento Rancho del Mar. The daytime signal can be heard over much of coastal Southern California and parts of Baja California. At night, the skywave signal extends over much of the West Coast of the United States and Northwestern Mexico.

Pórticos de San Antonio, or San Antonio Heights, is a fraccionamiento in Baja California in Tijuana Municipality. The city had a population of 34,234 as of 2010.

San Antonio de los Buenos is a borough of the municipality of Tijuana in Baja California, Mexico. San Antonio de los Buenos borough lies southwest of the city center and Sánchez Taboada boroughs and east of Playas de Tijuana. Blvd. de los Fundadores and Periférico are major thoroughfares. Monte San Antonio lies in this borough and it's the highest part of Tijuana, so high that most TV and Radio anthennas for the largest broadcasting networks in Mexico have installations there as well as some US ones.

La Joya is a city in Baja California also known as "La Gloria" in the Tijuana Municipality. The city had a population of 30,063 as of 2018. Its urban area links Tijuana with Rosarito Beach.

Playas de Rosarito Municipality (Spanish: Municipio de Playas de Rosarito) is located in the northwestern part of the Mexican state of Baja California comprising part of the Tijuana metropolitan area. It lies just south of the city of Tijuana. Its municipal seat is the city of Rosarito. According to the 2020 census, the municipality had a population of 126,890 inhabitants. Its area is 513.32 km2 (198.19 sq mi).

Rosarito is a coastal city in Playas de Rosarito Municipality, Baja California, on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. As of 2010, the city had a population of 65,278. Located 10 miles (16 km) south of the US–Mexico border, Rosarito is a part of the greater San Diego–Tijuana region and one of the westernmost cities in Mexico. Rosarito is a major tourist destination, known for its beaches, resorts, and events like Baja Beach Fest.

XETV-TDT (channels 6 and 16) is a television station located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, broadcasting programs from Canal 5 and NU9VE. Its terrestrial signal also covers the San Diego, California area across the international border in the United States. The station is owned by Grupo Televisa, and its technical operations and transmitter facilities are located at Mount San Antonio in Tijuana. From its initial sign-on in 1953 until 2017, XETV broadcast English-language programming and operated business offices, and later a studio and newsroom, in San Diego. The station's American operations were managed by Bay City Television, a California-based corporation owned by Televisa. It was most recently an affiliate of The CW. XETV ceased its San Diego operations on May 31, 2017; The CW moved its San Diego affiliation from XETV's main channel to a subchannel of KFMB-TV (channel 8.2) the following day; XETV's cable channel 6 was transitioned to KFMB-DT2 on the same date.

XHAS-TDT (channel 33) is a television station in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, carrying Canal 66. It is owned by a Mexican company whose largest single investor is Entravision Communications, a U.S.-based operator of radio and television stations with radio and television stations in San Diego, including Univision affiliate KBNT-CD (channel 17), and a similar interest in Milenio Televisión affiliate XHDTV-TDT (channel 49). The transmitter is on Mount San Antonio in Tijuana. XHAS began broadcasting in 1981 and initially devoted most of its time to rebroadcasting programs from XEW television in Mexico City. It joined Telemundo in 1990 and continued to broadcast its programming until 2017, when Telemundo parent NBCUniversal opted to take the network in-house. It then switched to airing Azteca América programming.

The 8th federal electoral district of Baja California (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 08 de Baja California) is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of nine such districts in the state of Baja California. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the first region. The 8th district was created by the Federal Electoral Institute (IFE) in its 2005 redistricting process and was first contested in the 2006 general election. The current member for the district, elected in the 2024 general election, is Fausto Gallardo García of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena).
