Eram-e Sabz Metro Station

The Tehran Zoological Garden (Persian: باغ‌وحش تهران), also known as "Eram Zoo" (باغ‌وحش ارم), is located 4 km (2.5 mi) on the Tehran–Karaj Freeway in the Eram Amusement Park, Tehran province, Iran. Inaugurated in 1992, the zoo covers an area of 4.5 ha (11 acres) and houses over 290 species.

Eram Amusement Park پارک ارم, is the largest theme park in Iran. The park was established in 1972 by Rahimali Khorram, after whom the park was named until 1979. Eram Park is located on the Tehran–Karaj Freeway in Tehran province and covers an area of 70 hectares (170 acres).khorram Park consists of two lunaparks with 28 facilities with more than 120 devices for children and adults, Tehran Zoological Garden with more than 110 species, and an 8-hectare (20-acre) lake for barefoot skiing, cable skiing, canoeing, rowing, and kayaking. It also has various fast food restaurants, cafés, and other restaurants.

Ekbatan Town (Persian: شهرک اکباتان, Šahrak-e Ekbātān) is a planned town in western Tehran, Iran. It is located approximately five kilometers west of central Tehran.

Shahrak-e Shahid Arman Aliverdi Metro Station is a station of Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located in Shahrak-e Ekbatan. It is located between Bimeh Metro Station to the southeast and Eram-e Sabz Metro Station to the north.

The Rah Ahan Stadium (Persian: استاديوم راه آهن) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tehran, Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Rah Ahan F.C., who currently play in Iran's Premier Football League.The stadium holds 12,000 people.

Varzeshgah-e Azadi Metro Station, translated as Azadi Stadium Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 5. It is located north of Tehran-Karaj Freeway and south of Azadi Stadium. It is between Eram-e Sabz Metro Station and Chitgar Metro Station.

Sepahan Airlines Flight 5915 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Iranian capital Tehran Mehrabad International Airport to Tabas, South Khorasan province, Iran. On 10 August 2014, the HESA IrAn-140 twin turboprop serving the flight crashed shortly after takeoff from Mehrabad International Airport, falling into a boulevard near the Azadi Stadium. Of the 42 passengers and six crew on board, 40 people died.Iran's Civil Aviation Organization mainly attributed the crash to mechanical error. The aircraft suffered a malfunction on one of its engines shortly after take-off. Mismanagement of the emergency by the crew caused the aircraft to lose altitude rapidly, causing it to crash onto a boulevard. Subsequently, investigators also blamed the confusing Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) that caused the crew to over-estimate the maximum take-off weight.

Apadana Residential Society (Persian: شهرک آپادانا) is a planned residential society in the northwest of well known Azadi square in Tehran, Iran. It is located between Azadi Square and Ekbatan Complex.

Bimeh Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 4. It is located on Lashgari Expressway next to Shahrak-e Bimeh. It is between Meydan-e Azadi Metro Station and Shahrak-e Ekbatan Metro Station. It is also the terminus of the Mehrabad Airport branch of the line, having a special distinct fleet of trains running along it.

On 15 March 1974, Sterling Airways Flight 901, a Sud Aviation Caravelle operated by Sterling Airways, experienced a landing gear failure as it was taxiing for take-off. The right main landing gear collapsed, which caused the right wing to contact the runway, rupturing a fuel tank and igniting the spilt fuel. The fire killed 15 passengers and injured 37 passengers and crew. The aircraft had been chartered by tour company Tjæreborg to take tourists around Asia, and was on the way back to Copenhagen when the accident happened. The accident came only two years after the crash of Sterling Airways Flight 296.

The Azadi Stadium (Persian: ورزشگاه آزادی Varzešgâh-è Âzâdi), opened as the Aryamehr Stadium (Persian: ورزشگاه آریامهر Varzešgâh-è Âryâmehr), is an all-seater football stadium in Tehran, Iran. The stadium was designed by Abdol Aziz Mirza Farman-Farmaian Architects and Associates (AFFA) with other parts of the sports complex based on plans by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, an American architectural, urban planning, and engineering firm. It was inaugurated on 17 October 1971 by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran; it is currently self-owned by Esteghlal and Persepolis. It is also the home stadium of the Iran national football team. It has a capacity of 78,116 spectators, as the result of conversion to all-seater stadium. The stadium is part of the larger Azadi Sport Complex.Aryamehr (meaning "Light of the Aryans") was the title of the said Shah; it was renamed after the Iranian Revolution to Azadi (meaning "freedom" in Persian). It is the 1st largest association football stadium in Western Asia. It was built to host the 1974 Asian Games and has hosted the 1976 AFC Asian Cup. The stadium also hosted five finals of Asian Club Competitions: three finals of AFC Champions League in 1999, 2002 and 2018 and two finals of Asian Cup Winners' Cup in 1991 and 1993. Azadi Stadium also hosted WAFF Championship Tournament in 2004 and 2008.Because of the loud sound of vuvuzelas, similar to the sound of bees, the stadium is sometimes referred to as a "Bee swarm".
