Montpelier railway station, Jamaica

Montpelier is a village located in Saint James Parish, Jamaica, approximately 15 minutes away from the parish's capital Montego Bay.

Anchovy railway station opened in c1894 and closed in 1992. It served the small town of Anchovy, Jamaica on the Kingston to Montego Bay line and was 105.75 miles (170.19 km) from the Kingston terminus.It was built around 1894 of timber in the Jamaican Georgian architectural style. It has two floors. The ground floor has timber doors and sash windows. The upper floor is partially cantilevered and is supported by a series of timber posts on the ground floor to form a canopy over the platform and front elevation. The upper floor has a mixture of sash and louvred windows as well as recessed panel timber doors. The roof of the structure is a T-shaped gable end zinc roof with a semi-circular fanlight on either side of a double gable end section of the roof.In 2003 it was reported as being in "very poor condition" and "in need of major repairs".It is on the list of designated National Heritage Sites in Jamaica.

Anchovy is a small town in the parish of Saint James in northwestern Jamaica. It is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south-southwest of Montego Bay.

St. James is a suburban parish, located on the north-west end of the island of Jamaica in the county of Cornwall. Montego Bay Sports Complex (sometimes referred to as Catherine Hall Sports Complex) is a multi-purpose sports stadium in the Catherine Hall area of the city of Montego Bay, Jamaica. It is also the former home field for Montego Bay United. The stadium capacity is approximately 7,000. In April 2011 it hosted the 40th edition of the Carifta Games. In July 2014, it was announced as a host venue for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship.In October 2014, the venue was announced the host for the final round of the 2014 Caribbean Cup.Jamaica hosted the Under-20 Championship in January 2015, with the Montego Bay Stadium one of the two stadium used for the tournament. The ground hosted a total of 24 games, including the final between Panama and Mexico on 24 January.
