The Colorado Street Bridge is a historic concrete arch bridge spanning the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena, California.

The Hulett C. Merritt mansion, also called the "Villa Merritt Ollivier", is a historical landmark residence located in Pasadena, California. The Hulett Merritt estate "Villa Merritt Ollivier" in Pasadena was built on four acres for $1,100,000 in 1905 - 1908. His mansion was located at 99 Terrace Drive and bounded on the north by Olcott Place and on the west by South Orange Grove Avenue. This area on South Orange Grove Avenue was referred to locally as "Millionaires' Row" (per the City of Pasadena's Architectural and Historical Survey of 1997). Hulett Merritt was the Chairman of US Steel and made his millions as an iron ore mining magnate.It was featured in the opening scenes of The Millionaire, a popular TV series of the 1950s.

The Indiana Colony is the name of the cooperative who originally settled in the area known today as Pasadena, California, United States, as well as their first name for the area they settled. The group was incorporated on January 31, 1874, by Indiana residents seeking warmer weather after the exceptionally cold winter of 1872–73. The settlers met in the home of Thomas Elliott, and Daniel Berry was selected to visit Southern California with a direction to find suitable land at a suitable price. Berry visited San Diego, Anaheim, San Fernando, Rancho Santa Anita and Rancho San Pascual. After meeting Judge Benjamin Eaton and Benjamin Davis "Don Benito" Wilson, he was able to negotiate the purchase of lands in the eastern part of Rancho San Pascual near the Arroyo Seco. The recession of 1873 caused a few initial investors to withdraw from the settlement plans. Berry immediately reincorporated the company into the San Gabriel Orange Grove Association, enlisting any interested parties and salvaging the purchasing power of the settlement. The nearly 4,000-acre (16 km2) property would become The Indiana Colony, the genesis of present-day Pasadena, California.

Lower Arroyo is a neighborhood in Pasadena, California, centered on the Arroyo Seco south of Brookside Park. It is bordered by Holly Street to the north, Columbia Street to the south, San Rafael Avenue to the west, and Orange Grove Boulevard to the east.

The Finnish Folk Art Museum is located on the grounds of the Pasadena Museum of History in Pasadena, California. The only museum of its type in the United States, it was created in 1974 by Yrjö Alfred Paloheimo, a native of Finland, who was the husband of Leonora “Babsie” Curtin.Paloheimo served as Finland's consular officer in Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. For 17 years, Finland's consulate offices were located in the mansion. Paloheimo founded the Finlandia Foundation and established Järvenpää, Finland, as Pasadena's sister city in that country. He and his wife also adopted four Finnish children who were reared on the Fenyes Estate.The Swiss chalet-like structure, constructed of redwood with a stone roof, was built in 1910 as a garage for Arthur Fleming's Wigmore Estate. Fleming's architect, Frederick Roehrig, also designed portions of the Green Hotel in Pasadena. In 1949 Paloheimo learned that the unusual structure was for sale, and moved it onto the grounds of the Fenyes Estate to serve as a folk art museum, guest house, and sauna. Paloheimo filled the building with farmhouse furnishings he collected from several provinces in Finland, and did much of the stone work and gardening himself. The museum have large areas of lawn, with the beautiful Fenyes Mansion as a background, are ideal for wandering.Inside the museum, a large living room called a “Tupa” is furnished with early 19th Century Finnish peasant furniture and objects. Visitors may see an open hearth or “Takka” used for heating and cooking, poles and overhead racks called “Leipävartaat” for storing rye sourdough bread, and “Tuoli” or chairs hand-carved by farmers as bridal gifts to their daughters, as well as many other Finnish hand-made items.The Finnish Folk Art Museum and Finlandia Gardens were officially dedicated in 1974. Currently maintained by the Pasadena Museum of History, tours of the folk art museum are often included in Feynes Estate tours

The Fenyes Estate is a historic two-acre estate complex located at 160-170 Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena along what was once known as "Millionaires' Row". The Pasadena Museum of History maintains the century-old estate and offers docent-led tours of the Fenyes Mansion, the Curtin House, and the Finnish Folk Art Museum and gardens.In 1905, Dr. Adalbert Fenyes, a Hungarian entomologist and the first Pasadena doctor to use an X-ray machine, and his wife Eva Scott Muse Fenyes commissioned a two-story house from architect Robert D. Farquhar. Designed in the Beaux Arts manner, the mansion was completed at a cost of $20,325, In 1911, architect Sylvanus Marston of Marston & Van Pelt completed an addition consisting of a studio, conservatory, and laboratory.Like many of the large old homes along Orange Grove Boulevard, the Fenyes Mansion reflects the opulent neoclassical tastes popular at the turn of the century. Dr. Fenyes' wife, Eva, was an accomplished artist and world traveler who met her husband in Cairo, Egypt.The estate and gardens were used as sets for a number of early motion pictures for film industry notables such as Douglas Fairbanks and D.W. Griffith. The estate is listed as a Pasadena Cultural Landmark and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 1985. Marston & Van Pelt also designed the 1915 Curtin House, a smaller French-influenced house on the grounds for Eva Fenyes' only daughter, Leonora Curtin, who inherited the mansion from her mother. Leonora Curtin had one daughter also named Leonora who was known as “Babsie”. A linguist who spent time among the Pueblo Indians, Babsie traveled widely, spending time in Santa Fe and Pasadena until she met Yrjo Alfred Paloheimo, a Finnish diplomat whom she married in 1946.Paloheimo was Finland's Consul for the Southwest area and the Fenyes Mansion served as the Finnish consulate's office for seventeen years. Paloheimo also established the Finnish Folk Art Museum, a Swiss chalet-style building. Paloheimo and his wife adopted four Finnish children, who together donated the estate to the Pasadena Museum of History in 1970.

The W. L. Mead House is a historic house located at 380 West Del Mar Boulevard in Pasadena, California. Architect Louis B. Easton designed the American Craftsman house, which was built for W. L. Mead in 1910. The house is a two-story wood-frame structure with a brick foundation. The front-facing gable roof has wide eaves inspired by the Swiss chalet style. Both the roof and the second floor of the house are sided with wood shingles, a distinctive Craftsman feature; the first floor has a stucco exterior. The house also features a terrace covered by a wooden shed roof and supported by brick piers.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 6, 1998.

The Park Place–Arroyo Terrace Historic District is a residential historic district located in northwest Pasadena, California. The district includes eleven contributing houses built from 1902 to 1912. Most of the houses in the district were influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement, which was popular in Pasadena in the early 20th century; particular styles in the district include the American Craftsman house, the Craftsman bungalow, the Colonial Revival house, and the Prairie School house. Prominent Pasadena architects Charles and Henry Greene designed seven of the district's houses; the district is the most concentrated collection of their works in Pasadena. Two other noted Craftsman architects, Myron Hunt and Sylvanus Marston, also designed homes in the district, including Hunt's own residence.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 29, 2007.

Ambassador Auditorium is located on the historic Ambassador College campus in Pasadena, California, United States. Its architectural design has been noted to be somewhat similar to that of the Temple in ancient Israel. The auditorium's main hall has a capacity of 1,262 people.

Maranatha High School is a private, college preparatory Christian school in Pasadena, California. This co-ed high school opened in 1965. The athletic teams are known as the Minutemen. The school colors are Red, White, and Navy Blue. The school was located in Sierra Madre, California until 2005, when the school moved to its present location at the historic Ambassador College campus in Pasadena. Maranatha celebrated their 50th year in 2015. As of 2019, John Rouse has been the head of school.

The Dr. W. T. Bolton House is a historic house located at 370 W. Del Mar Boulevard in Pasadena, California. Built in 1906, the Craftsman-style house was designed by prominent Pasadena architects Charles and Henry Greene. The house's design emphasizes function over form, a key concept in Craftsman designs; its joints and beams are exposed, and the wooden front door was oiled by hand to highlight its natural grain and color. The house's light fixtures, stained glass windows, and even furnishings were also designed by Greene and Greene to give the house a unified design. Dr. W. T. and Alice Bolton commissioned the house, which was their second residence designed by the Greene brothers; while W. T. Bolton died before he could live in the house, Alice Bolton lived there until 1917. The house was one of several Craftsman homes built in Pasadena's "Millionaire's Row" district, which included a number of large homes in the vicinity of Orange Grove Boulevard.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 9, 1980.

Directly north of the Colorado Street Bridge, Holly Street Bridge is the northernmost of the bridges that cross the Arroyo Seco (Los Angeles County) in Pasadena, CA. The concrete arch bridge was designed by W.C. Earle, city engineer, and replaced the 1909 Linda Vista Bridge.
