Kalas Shair Khan (commonly written and spoken as "Kalas") is a village situated on the border of three districts (Jhelum, Rawalpindi, and Chakwal) in Pakistan. The village is included in District and Tehsil Chakwal, a recently annexed district of Jhelum.

Gulshanabad, (Urdu: گلشن آباد) officially the Abad Cooperative Housing Society (ACHS), is a neighborhood of Rawalpindi, (Punjab, Pakistan) established around Soan River. The suburb is situated on Adyala Road of Rawalpindi, Adyala Road leads to the infamous Adyala Jail. The colony was settled in late 80's and contains 4 sectors and has a central market along with a central green area park and a Central Mosque (Jamia Masjid).

Khinger Kalan is a small village located in Rawalpindi District in Pakistan. It is 34 km to the southwest of Rawalpindi in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Major crops are wheat, maize and mustard, and some people have cows/buffalo at home for milk and other dairy items. Some sell milk to nearby towns. Major tree are Kakher, Dhraik, Jhand, Phalli and Safada, now the trees are decreasing in surrounding area of Village, in Homes normally fruit trees are planted mostly Lemon, Guava, Apricot etc.

Dhamial Airbase or Qasim Airbase (ICAO: OPQS) is a Pakistan Army airbase located in southern Rawalpindi, Pakistan. It is the headquarters of Pakistan Army Aviation.It was built a few kilometers outside Rawalpindi city, but due to the expansion of the city, it is now surrounded by major colonies, including Askari IIIX. It is frequently used by small aircraft and helicopters. Dhamial Airbase is also used for overhauling helicopters, including Mil Mi 17, Bell 412 and Bell AH-1F Cobra.

On 10 April 1959, an Indian Canberra PR.57 reconnaissance aircraft was shot down while it was deep inside Pakistani airspace by two Pakistan Air Force (PAF) F-86F Sabres. The Canberra was on a photo reconnaissance mission over the Punjab province when it was shot down. This shootdown is also the first aerial victory for the PAF.

Rawalpindi War Cemetery is a cemetery situated on Harley Street in Rawalpindi in Punjab, Pakistan.It is situated in the cantonment area. It is part of the Protestant Cemetery known as Gora Qabrastan (The Foreign Cemetery). It is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.The cemetery contains 257 Commonwealth burials of the First World War, connected mainly with the operations on the North-West Frontier. There are also 101 burials from the Second World War.
