Kabara, Haifa

Nahal Taninim or Tanninim (Hebrew: נחל תנינים, lit. 'Crocodiles Stream') or Wadi az-Zarka (Arabic: وَادِي الزرقاء, lit. 'Blue Stream') is a river in Israel near the Arab town Jisr az-Zarqa, originating near Ramot Menashe and emptying into the Mediterranean Sea south of Ma'agan Michael. It marks the southern limit of the Hof HaCarmel, or Carmel Coastal Plain region.

Ma'agan Michael (Hebrew: מַעֲגַן מִיכָאֵל, lit. Michael's Anchorage) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located on the Mediterranean Sea coast between Haifa and Hadera, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 2,068.Ma'agan Michael is among Israel's largest and financially independent kibbutzim.

Jisr az-Zarqa (Arabic: جِسْر الزَّرْقَاء lit. The blue bridge, Hebrew: גִ'סְר א-זַּרְקָא; often shortened as Jisr) is an Israeli Arab town on Israel's northern Mediterranean coastal plain. Located just north of Caesarea within the Haifa District, it achieved local council status in 1963. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) the town had a population of 13,689 in 2014, living on 1,500 dunams (1.5 km2) of coastal land. 80% of residents reportedly live below the poverty line. The name Jisr az-Zarqa is a reference to Taninim Stream, which is known in Arabic as the "Blue Wadi" (Wadi az-Zarka). The mayor is Az-Adin Amash. Jisr az-Zarqa is the only Arab-majority town in Israel located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Coastal railway line (Hebrew: מסילת החוף, romanized: mesilat ha-ḥof) is a mainline railway in Israel, which begins just south of the Lebanon-Israel border on the Mediterranean coast, near the town of Nahariya in Northern Israel and stretches almost the entire Mediterranean coast of the country, to just north of the border with the Gaza Strip in the south.

Kebara Cave (Hebrew: מערת כבארה, romanized: Me'arat Kebbara, Arabic: مغارة الكبارة, romanized: Mugharat al-Kabara) is a limestone cave locality in Wadi Kebara, situated at 60 to 65 m (197 to 213 ft) above sea level on the western escarpment of the Carmel Range, in the Ramat HaNadiv preserve of Zichron Yaakov.

Beit Hanania (Hebrew: בֵּית חֲנַנְיָה, lit. House of Hanania) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located close to the south edge of Mount Carmel close to Zikhron Ya'akov, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 923.

Tel Tanninim (Hebrew: תל תנינים, lit. 'Crocodiles Mound'), in Arabic Tell al-Milāt (lit. 'Mortar Mound') is an ancient tell (archaeological mound) on the shore of the Mediterranean, near the mouth of Nahal Tanninim ('Crocodiles Stream'), in the vicinity of the modern Arab town of Jisr az-Zarka, Israel.

Ramat Hanadiv (Hebrew: רמת הנדיב, Heights of the Benefactor), is a nature park and garden in northern Israel, covering 4.5 km (3 mi) at the southern end of Mount Carmel between Zikhron Ya'akov to the north and Binyamina to the south. The Jewish National Fund planted pine and cypress groves in most of the area.

Zikhron Ya'aqov railway station is an inactive railway station on the Coastal railway in Israel. It is located 2 km west of the town of Zikhron Ya'akov.

Ma'ayan Tzvi (Hebrew: מַעְיַן צְבִי, lit. Zvi's Spring) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near Zikhron Ya'akov, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 762.

Khirbat al-Shuna or Khirbat ash Shuna was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on March 15, 1948. It was located 32.5 km south of Haifa. Khirbat al-Shuna contained a small archaeological site, Khirbat Tell Mubarak. The area is now part of a JNF park, immediately north of Binyamina-Giv'at Ada.

The Solar Garden (Hebrew: הגן הסולארי, Hagan haSolari) is an idealistic center in Binyamina, Israel, approximately 40 kilometers south of Haifa on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. The center focuses mainly on solar energy (hence the name) and other alternative sources of energy power. Furthermore, The Solar Garden develops small-scale techniques to preserve the environment, such as a garbage-sorting and a recycling project based on a wide range of reusable materials, the production of compost and aquaponic systems. The project was initiated by Yaniv Fieldust in January 2011, because of his concern about the state of the environment in Israel and the lack of awareness amongst the Israeli people of this. The Solar Garden also develops projects in the area of educational guidance to (school)children about topics that have to do with environment-friendly ways of generating sustainable power, growing crops, recycling and the use of organic materials.The Solar Garden is maintained not only by its founder, but also by many volunteers both from Israel and abroad.
