Redmond is a city in Deschutes County, Oregon, United States. Incorporated on July 6, 1910, the city is on the eastern side of Oregon's Cascade Range, in the High Desert in Central Oregon. From Redmond there is access to recreational opportunities. Redmond is a full-service municipality and one of the fastest-growing industrial and residential communities in Oregon. Redmond had a population of 32,421 in 2019, and the population continues to grow at a rate of about 6.7 percent each year. The city encompasses 15.5 square miles (40 km2) and is on a plateau, at an elevation of 3,077 feet (938 m). Redmond is 15 miles (24 km) north of Bend—the county seat of Deschutes County—144 miles (232 km) from Portland, 129 miles (208 km) from Salem—the capital of Oregon—and 126 miles (203 km) from Eugene.

Edwin Brown High School, also known as Edwin Brown Alternative High School, was an alternative high school in Redmond, Oregon, United States. It merged into Redmond High School in late 2009.

The New Redmond Hotel is a historic commercial hotel in Redmond, Oregon, United States. The hotel was built in 1928 after the original Redmond Hotel, (sometimes referred to as "Hotel Redmond") was destroyed in a fire. It is a three-story Georgian-style brick masonry building located on 6th Street in downtown Redmond. It has been in continuous use as a commercial hotel since it first opened. Today, the New Redmond Hotel is a major landmark in downtown Redmond. Because of its importance to the history of Redmond, the New Redmond Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On August 1, 2019, Soul Community Planet announced that after a two-year, $7 million renovation, The New Hotel Redmond by SCP (or SCP Redmond) opened in the Fall of 2019. The 41,000 square-foot, 49-room hotel, was redeveloped in partnership with the city of Redmond. The Rooftop, a 1,500 square-foot rooftop social garden (restaurant / bar), was added, opened in August. The redevelopment was made possible through a public-private partnership between the city of Redmond and the developer – a partnership managed by Alpha Wave Investors and RevOZ Capital. The city of Redmond, through its Redmond Urban Renewal Agency, provided a $3.53 million investment in the project.In 2020, The New Redmond Hotel by SCP (or SCP Redmond) was awarded the DeMuro Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation through Restore Oregon along with ten other historic projects from across Oregon.

Built in 1912, the First Presbyterian Church of Redmond is the oldest standing church structure in the city of Redmond, Oregon, United States. It is also the second-oldest religious building in Deschutes County. The church was built in the Gothic Revival style with Queen Anne architectural detailing. It was the home of Protestant congregations from 1912 until 1979. Today, the building is privately owned and used as a special events venue. The First Presbyterian Church of Redmond was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

General Duffy's Waterhole is a beer and cider taphouse with a food court and two large events venues located in Redmond, Oregon. It opened for business in 2019. Shortly after opening, Duffy's began hosting weekly street markets next to the taphouse. Later that year, General Duffy's was recognized with two awards: one for improving the city's downtown economy, and the other as Redmond's "New Business of the Year". During the coronavirus pandemic, the business survived a period of carry-out only customer service and other mandated restrictions. Duffy's owners used that time to develop The Angle, an outdoor music and events venue with space for up to 2,500 attendees. In late 2021, General Duffy's opened a large special events hall on an adjacent property; Duffy's Annex provides indoor space for music programs and other events year-round.

Central Christian Schools is a private Christian school in Redmond, Oregon, United States. The school has been accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International since 1992, and through the Northwest Accreditation Commission since 2002. The Central Christian Tigers compete in the OSAA Mountain Valley 1A league. Central Christian opened in 1992.

Redmond Municipal Airport (IATA: RDM, ICAO: KRDM, FAA LID: RDM) (Roberts Field) is in Deschutes County, Oregon, United States. It is owned and operated by the city of Redmond, Oregon.It is the main commercial airport in Central Oregon, with nonstop scheduled passenger airline flights to several hubs in the western U.S. as well as seasonally to Chicago. The airfield serves Redmond and nearby Bend, Oregon. It is the home of the Lancair factory and a base for aerial firefighting aircraft operated by private airtanker companies. The United States Forest Service (USFS) Redmond Air Center is on the airport and supports regional firefighting operations with this federal facility providing training and housing for smokejumper teams along with fuel, water and fire retardant for airtanker aircraft at its ramps along the north side of the field. Avelo Airlines began new nonstop service between Redmond and the Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in the Los Angeles area on May 13, 2021, with Boeing 737-800 mainline jetliners.The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 called it a primary commercial service airport. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 364,921 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2017, up from 306,517 in 2016.

The Hooker Creek Events Center is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Redmond, Oregon, United States. The largest of several buildings on the Deschutes County Expo Center, it hosts sporting events and concerts. It opened in 2000.

First Interstate Bank Center is a 4,000-permanent seat indoor arena located in Redmond, Oregon, as part of the Deschutes County Expo Center. It is named for a regional bank which purchased naming rights to the arena's name. Originally, it was called the Bank of the Cascades Center, but that bank's acquisition by First Interstate BancSystem caused the change to the current name. Other seating capacities include 5,000 for basketball and up to 7,800 for concerts. It can also accommodate volleyball, motorsports, wrestling, indoor football, conventions and trade shows. There is over 40,000 square feet of space on the arena floor with an additional 28,250 square feet on the arena concourse. Concession stands are placed on each end of the arena and ticket booths are located on each entrance.

KRDM (1240 AM, "La Bronca") is a commercial regional Mexican radio station in Bend, Oregon. The station first went on air in 2004 broadcasting a news/talk format. Legendary Central Oregon radio host Bobby Smith was the only live and local air talent on the station. He hosted KRDM'S "Tradio on the Radio" weekday mornings. The station also featured Don Imus, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, John Batchelor, Glenn Beck, Ed Schultz, and others. The Station was originally owned by Sage Communications. A petition to revert programming to the original News/Talk format is currently in the works.
