The Provo Downtown Historic District is a 25-acre (10 ha) historic area located in Provo, Utah, United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district is composed of four blocks of Center Street (100 East to 300 West) and one and a half blocks of University Avenue. The NRHP listing included 43 contributing buildings. The majority of the buildings in this district were built between 1880 and 1930, however there were buildings constructed all the way through the seventies. Many of the buildings, particularly the older ones, required some fashion of remodeling. Within the district, twenty structures are considered architecturally or historically significant, and twenty one structures are considered contributory.

The Provo Tabernacle was a tabernacle of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1898 to 2010 in downtown Provo, Utah, United States. It was a historic icon of Provo and had been home to many religious and cultural events. All but the outer walls of the building were destroyed by fire in December 2010. The LDS Church preserved the remaining outer walls and built a new foundation and interior as part of the Provo City Center Temple, completed in 2016.

The Provo City Center Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) on the same site as the former Provo Tabernacle in Provo, Utah. Completed in 2016, the temple utilizes much of the external shell of the tabernacle, all that remained of the original building after a fire in December 2010.

The Knight Block is a historic building located on South University Avenue (U.S. Route 189) in downtown Provo, Utah, United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Velour Live Music Gallery (often just Velour) is a music venue, on University Avenue, in Provo, Utah. Velour is owned by Corey Fox. It acts as an all-ages music venue catering to an eclectic mix of genres. It is also a smoking and alcohol free environment. Neon Trees (Mercury) credit Velour as their home venue which helped launch their career. Other artists who similarly hold this same sentiment include major label artists Imagine Dragons (Interscope), Fictionist (Atlantic), Isaac Russell (Columbia), and notable folk singer Joshua James. Other Utah artists have hailed the work of Corey Fox and the value of Velour Live Music Gallery including internet sensation Lindsey Stirling, Truman Brothers and The Used (Hopeless). Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees are both past winners of the Velour Battle of the Bands. SPIN has also dubbed Velour Live Music Gallery one of the Best Kept Secrets in Utah. Similarly, the venue was listed on the "Best of Utah" in 2007. BYUtv indie music show AUDIO-FILES has had multiple episodes filmed at Velour including episodes featuring Imagine Dragons, Joshua James, Damien Jurado, and others. Artists, including Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, Sara Bareilles, Matt Nathanson, Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses, Local Natives, The National Parks, and many more have played this small taste-making venue.

The William D. Alexander House is a historic house located in Provo, Utah. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is asserted to be the only period example of Stick Style architecture in the state of Utah.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church, in Provo, Utah, is a congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah in the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. The church building was built in 1907; in 1962, 4,800 square feet (450 m2) was added to make room for a new church office, parish hall, Sunday school, and the church library.

The Harvey H. Cluff house is a house in central Provo, Utah, United States, built in 1877 that is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was originally owned by Harvey H. Cluff.

The Reed Smoot House, also known as Mrs. Harlow E. Smoot House, was the home of Reed Smoot from 1892 to his death in 1941, and is located at 183 E. 100 South, Provo, Utah, United States. Smoot was a prominent US Senator best known for advocacy of protectionism and the Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976.Smoot himself drew the first designs for the house, and Richard K.A. Kletting completed the design. The house cost over four thousand dollars to complete. "Victorian Eclectic in design, it is a Stately, solid, early Mormon square block home with some Victorian exuberance displayed in the detailing. The home is linked with Utah's early political and religious history, and is the site of several visits from U.S. presidents in the early twentieth century (Historic Provo p. 20)." This house was nominated to be named to the Provo City Landmark Register on April 28, 1995.

The Samuel H. Allen Home is a historic house located at 135 E. 200 North in Provo, Utah. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
