Aspotogan Peninsula

CKVE-FM is a Canadian radio station broadcasting at 88.7 FM in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is owned by Hubbards Radio Society and airs a community radio radio format. CKVE uses the on-air brand name 88.7 Cove FM.

In an address to the Empire Club of Canada (1950), Cyrus S. Eaton was introduced with the following: Mr. Eaton also owns and operated a 3,000-acre farm near Chester, Nova Scotia, and an 870-acre farm at Northfield, Ohio, specializing in the raising of pure bred and registered Scotch Shorthorn cattle. I rather suspect that of all his undertakings Mr. Eaton has a very special interest in farming because our invitation to address this meeting reached him at his farm in Nova Scotia and, in his very welcome and very prompt reply accepting our invitation, he did say that the invitation had reached him "at my Deep Cove Farm in Chester, Nova Scotia, where 8 of my grandchildren and I are getting acquainted with our latest crop of Shorthorn calves. Both the children and the calves are good to look at".

Aspotogan () is a small fishing community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in the Chester Municipal District on the Aspotogan Peninsula. There is a public wharf in Aspotogan Harbour. Aspotogan is at the head of Aspotogan Harbour, which gets its name from the Mi'kmaq Ashmutogun or Ukpudeskakun meaning "block the passageway" or "where the seals go in and out".

Canadian Forces Station Mill Cove (CFS Mill Cove) is a former Canadian Forces Station and currently a naval radio station located near Hubbards, Nova Scotia. Built in 1967, it is remotely operated by the Canadian Forces from CFB Halifax.

Administratively Northwest Cove is a General Service Area of the Chester Municipal District, and as such includes the areas also known as Southwest Cove and Coleman's Cove. Northwest Cove is on the Lighthouse Route (Nova Scotia Route 329). Several scenes from the television show Haven were shot in the Cove.

The Aspotogan Sea Spa was a luxury hotel development at the tip of the Aspotogan Peninsula, Nova Scotia, Canada. Construction was aborted in the mid-1990s when the developer ran out of money, leaving the hulking hotel building sitting abandoned for two decades until it was demolished in 2016.
