Hunts Corners is a hamlet in the town of Clarence in Erie County, New York, United States.

Newstead is the northeasternmost town in Erie County, New York, United States. The population was 8,689 at the 2020 census. The name is reportedly derived from Newstead Abbey in England. Newstead is northeast of Buffalo, and its principal community is the village of Akron.

US Post Office—Akron is a historic post office building located at Akron, Erie County, New York. It was designed and built 1939–1940, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It was completed in December 1940 as the result of residents requesting it from Congressman Alfred Beiter. The building is in the Colonial Revival style and is virtually identical to the post offices at Scotia, Oxford, Middleburgh, and Horseheads. The interior features a mural by Elizabeth Logan painted in 1941 and titled Horse-Drawn Railroad. When it opened on December 30, 1940, the Akron News reported that, "As you enter the stately stairway to the entrance of the new postoffice you have a certain sense of solidness and rigidity. The brass trimmed doors lend an atmosphere of a Government building." It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Rich-Twinn Octagon House built in 1849 is an historic octagonal house located at 145 Main Street in Akron, New York. It is one of three known octagon houses in Erie County, New York and was "meticulously restored" prior to its 1994 nomination to the National Register. On February 10, 1995, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Today it is a house museum and is occasionally open for touring.

It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Akron is located in the town of Newstead on the west and north slopes of a hill. NY 93 passes through the village.

Akron Falls Park is a 284-acre (1.15 km2) park in the Village of Akron and Town of Newstead, New York. A major feature of the park is a scenic 40-foot (12 m) waterfall on Murder Creek, a small stream that flows through the park. The park is operated by the Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, and is free and open year-round.

Clarence is a town and affluent suburb located in the northeastern part of Erie County, New York, United States, northeast of Buffalo. The population was 32,950 according to the 2020 census estimate. This represents an increase of 7.4% from the 2010 census figure. The Clarence census-designated place occupies the southeast part of the town and roughly corresponds to a postal district with ZIP code 14031 and 14221 in the western side which it shares with nearby Williamsville. The town is named in honor of Prince William, Duke of Clarence and St Andrews (1765–1837), the third son of King George III and later king himself, as William IV.There are no incorporated villages within the town.

Automobile Club of Buffalo is a historic clubhouse located at Clarence in Erie County, New York. It was designed by the architectural firm of Esenwein & Johnson and built in 1910–1911 in the Craftsman style. It is a two-story, Y-shaped, wood-frame building with a low hipped roof and broad eaves. The building measures 184 feet long and 32 feet wide. It features a deep porte cochere, semicircular two-story tower, broad verandah, enclosed one-story porch, and two exposed chimneys. Also on the property is a contributing storage shed. The property was sold to the Town of Clarence in 1957, and is used as a town park. The Automobile Club of Buffalo joined the American Automobile Association in 1903, one of its earliest affiliates. The clubhouse was built to promote membership in the Automobile Club of Buffalo, and was one of only six country clubs built by similar organizations in the United States.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Clarence Center is an affluent hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Clarence in Erie County, New York, United States. The population was 3,337 as of 2021. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. Clarence Center, within the south-central part of the town, is the location of most of the town government facilities, although the actual town hall is within the Clarence postal zone. Clarence Center is also one of the postal zones in the town with a ZIP code of 14032. This area comprises most of the northern part of the town.

J. Eshelman and Company Store, also known as The Square Deal Store, is a historic general store located at Clarence Center in Erie County, New York. It is a three-story, brick and cast iron commercial building constructed in the Italianate style in 1872. It exemplifies the type of brick and cast iron commercial building common to the region from the 1850s to the 1880s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
