North Boston is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Boston in Erie County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, the CDP population was 2,521. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. North Boston is on the northern town line, located around the junction of NY Routes 277 and 391.

Chestnut Ridge Park is a 1,213-acre (4.91 km2) park in Orchard Park, New York, originally named for the chestnut trees on its hills. It is currently the largest park operated by the Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, and is open year-round. The Chestnut Ridge Park property was acquired by Erie County in 1926, and it was one of the first parks established by the county. The park's facilities and landscapes were improved substantially by the Works Progress Administration throughout the 1930s.

The Eternal Flame Falls is a small waterfall located in the Shale Creek Preserve, a section of Chestnut Ridge Park in Western New York. A small grotto at the waterfall's base emits natural gas, which can be lit to produce a small flame. This flame is visible nearly year round, although it can be extinguished and must occasionally be re-lit. The Eternal Flame Falls were featured in the book Secret Places by Bruce Kershner and in the book What's Weird on Earth.

The district encompasses 62 contributing buildings along two blocks along Main Street in the village of Hamburg. The district includes a variety of residential, commercial, religious, and government buildings. Notable buildings include the First Baptist Church (c. 1870), St. James United Church of Christ (1928), Hamburg Presbyterian Church (1952), Bank of Hamburgh (1907, 1967), People's Bank (1926, 1966), and the Walters Building (1917).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
