Rosedale Golf Club is a private golf club in Toronto, founded in 1893 in Moore Park. The course hosted the Canadian Open in 1912 and 1928.

Lawrence Park is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered by Yonge Street to the west and Bayview Avenue to the east, and from Blythwood Ravine on the south to Lawrence Avenue on the north. Lawrence Park was one of Toronto's first planned garden suburbs. Begun in the early part of the 20th century, it did not fully develop until after the Second World War. It was ranked the wealthiest neighbourhood in all of Canada in 2011.Centred on Mount Pleasant Road, the neighbourhood grew slowly with medium-sized houses on narrow but deep lots. There are few commercial businesses within walking distance. The closest grocery stores are close to Yonge and Lawrence. In its early years, the neighbourhood's transportation was served predominantly by the northern section of the Toronto Transportation Commission's Yonge streetcar line. When the Yonge subway opened to Eglinton in 1954, the TTC replaced this service with trolley buses on Yonge Street and Mount Pleasant Road, both terminating at the Eglinton station. The trolleys left Yonge when the subway was extended further north in 1973, although a less frequent local bus service remained; the trolleys on Mount Pleasant lasted until 1991, when they too were replaced with regular buses. Demographically, the neighbourhood still retains a largely Anglo-Protestant population.

The Toronto French School (TFS), founded in 1962, is an independent, bilingual, co-educational, non-denominational school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Charles III, as King of Canada, is the royal patron of the school. The school rebranded in 2011 to become TFS – Canada's International School.At TFS, students complete the IB PYP (Primary Years Program), MYP (Middle Years Program) and Diploma Programs (DP), in addition to the National Curriculum of France and the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum. It is compulsory for students to study under the International Baccalaureate program in their final two years. Prior to this, students between the ages of 2 and 15 go through a broad bilingual program covering the arts, languages, natural and social sciences as well as mathematics. The school offers numerous side programs that focus on aiding students in expanding to an international level, including an optional SAT preparation course.

Teddington Park is a neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered by Yonge Street to the west and Bayview Avenue to the east, and from Snowden Road in the south to north of Glen Echo Road and Rosedale Golf Club. Development occurred in and around the 1930s, and was farmland before that time. The neighbourhood is primarily residential (mostly home to the affluent) with only a small stretch of retail businesses along Yonge Street, in addition to the Rosedale Golf Club.

The Bayview Bridge is a Deck truss bridge over the West Don River in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The six-lane bridge carries Bayview Avenue across the Don Valley, connecting with Lawrence Avenue East at its southern end. Built in 1929 by Harold Babcock, the bridge helped spur the development of the Bridle Path, an affluent neighbourhood northeast of the bridge's span. Restoration work on the bridge was done in 1969 and 1994 by Metro Transportation (shown on plaque along the middle of the bridge). The bridge is also used as part of the detour route for traffic moving east to Lawrence Avenue East (via Post Road and Bridle Path) or west to Lawrence Avenue West. Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens is a municipal park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The park was created in 1933 by public subscription to honour Alexander Muir, who composed the song "The Maple Leaf Forever". The park was originally located opposite Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Yonge Street, but was moved to its present location in 1951 due to the construction of the Yonge subway. Today the park is in Toronto's Lawrence Park neighbourhood south of Lawrence Avenue with an entrance on the east side of Yonge Street.

Hoggs Hollow is a residential neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Don River Valley and centred on the intersection of Yonge Street, York Mills Road, and Wilson Avenue. Hoggs Hollow is named after the Hogg family. James Hogg (1797–1839), a Scotsman settled in the area in 1824. Hogg operated a whisky distillery and a grist mill and was viewed as the most successful of all the millers in the valley. The name is usually written without the apostrophe as Hoggs Hollow but sometimes appears as Hogg's Hollow.

Crescent School is an independent elementary and secondary boys' school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It teaches boys from Grades 3 to 12. Established in 1913 by John William James, the school was situated in several locations during its early years.
