The Martin Zapata High School (Spanish: Escuela de Comercio Martin Zapata) is one of the four high schools depending on the National University of Cuyo. It is located in Mendoza, Argentina. It was named after the delegate in the 1853 Argentine constitutional convention Martin Zapata.

The Metrotranvía Mendoza (Spanish for Mendoza Light Rail or fast tramway) is a public light rail transport system for the city of Mendoza, Argentina, served by articulated light rail cars operating on newly relaid tracks in former-General San Martín Railway mainline right-of-way. The 12.5-kilometre (7.8 mi) line runs between Mendoza and General Gutierrez in Maipú, on 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge double-track rail. The Metrotranvía of Mendoza serves the metropolitan area of Mendoza, which includes the departments of Las Heras, Central district, Godoy Cruz, Maipú and Luján de Cuyo. Service operates from 6:00 to 22:00. The line has been named the Línea Verde, or Green Line. The line operates on the right-hand side as its former U.S. light rail rolling stock is configured, in contrast to the left-handed operation of the majority of the Argentine railway network.

Los Andes is an Argentine daily newspaper published in the city of Mendoza. The newspaper was founded in 1882 by Adolfo Calle. It is not related to the Los Andes newspaper in Peru. In September 1995, it became the first Argentine newspaper to become available on the internet.

The Universidad del Aconcagua (English: Aconcagua University), generally known as UDA, is a non-profit private university founded in 1965. It is located in the city of Mendoza, Argentina.

Mendoza Station is a railway station located in the city of the same name in Argentina. It was inaugurated in 1885 and originally operated by state-owned Andean Railway (then taken over by British companies such as Buenos Aires and Pacific Railway). Nowadays Mendoza is currently used by Metrotranvía Mendoza, a light rail transport system inaugurated in 2012. The station is also served by state-owned company Trenes Argentinos Cargas which runs freight trains in the region. The station operated between 1885 and 1993 when it was closed by the national government. It remained disused and abandoned until 2012 when the Metrotranvía was inaugurated. The administrative building was reopened as a cultural centre named "Estación Cultural", while the main station building was completely remodelled when Metrotranvía extended to Las Heras in 2019.

The University of Mendoza (Spanish: Universidad de Mendoza, UM) is an Argentine non-profit private university in the city of Mendoza with a branch in the city of San Rafael.

Club Sportivo Independiente Rivadavia (mostly known simply as Independiente Rivadavia) is a football club from Mendoza, Argentina. The team currently plays in Argentine Primera División, the first major league in Argentine Football league system. Independiente Rivadavia played in the Argentine Primera in 1968, 1973, 1977, 1979–80 and 1982, when the team reached the quarter-finals of the National Championship. That year Independiente was eliminated in the play-offs by the team that would later reach the Championship, Ferro Carril Oeste.

Godoy Cruz is a city in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. It has 183,000 inhabitants as per the 2001 census [INDEC], and is part of the metropolitan area of the provincial capital (Mendoza).

Estadio Víctor Antonio Legrotaglie is a football stadium located at the General San Martín Park in the city of Mendoza of the homonymous province, Argentina. Inaugurated in 1934, the stadium is owned and operated by club Club Gimnasia y Esgrima and has a capacity of 11,000 spectators being one of the largest stadiums in the province after Estadio Malvinas Argentinas (42,000), Estadio Bautista Gargantini (24,000), and Estadio Feliciano Gambarte (17,000). The venue was named after Víctor Legrotaglie, former player and manager of Gimnasia y Esgrima and largely regarded as the greatest idol in club's history.
