Beberbeķi is a neighbourhood consisting mainly of private houses which lies on the western edge of Riga, Latvia. The swampy forest in Mūķupurvs and the Rīga International Airport noise area divides it from the rest of the city. Within the neighborhood is Beberbeķi Park, which contains a small lake used as a beach and ice fishing.

Mūkupurvs is a neighborhood of the city of Riga, the capital city of Latvia and in Pārdaugava, a suburb of Zemgale. Mūkupurva neighborhood is located in the R part of Riga. It borders Beberbekai, Zolitūde and Pleskodāle neighborhoods, as well as Mārupe parish of Mārupe county, which is adjacent to the D part of Mūkupurva neighborhood. The boundaries of the Mūkupurva neighborhood are a line parallel to Beberbeķu line 5, Krotes iela, a line along the residential massif, the city boundary (Babītes iela, Kalnciema iela) and Kārļa Ulmanias gatve. The total area of Mūkupurva neighborhood has a population of 242, and its area 4,515 km2, which is only slightly less than the average area indicator of Riga neighborhoods. Currently, this neighborhood is a very underdeveloped area of Riga, but judging by its location and configuration, it can be created and function as a unified neighborhood in the future. Along the perimeter, the length of the boundary of Mūkupurva neighborhood is 10,293 meters. The D part of Mūkupurva neighborhood, which is also the border of the city of Riga, is adjacent to the territory of the Riga International Airport.

It serves as a hub for airBaltic, SmartLynx Airlines and RAF-Avia, and as one of the base airports for Ryanair. The Latvian national carrier airBaltic is the largest carrier that serves the airport, followed by Ryanair. The airport is located in the Mārupe Municipality west of Riga, approximately 10 km from its city centre.

The International School of Latvia founded in 1994, is an independent co-educational, non-profit, college preparatory day school, for students of all nationalities 3 – 18 years of age. The International School of Latvia is an English language learning environment. It is a 15-minute drive from the center of Riga in the township of Piņķi, near the coastal resort of Jūrmala. The school was originally located in Jūrmala and in 2011 ISL moved to its current campus in Pinki.Students from over 35 countries attend the school. In 2006, ISL had its first IB Diploma graduates.

Imanta Station is a railway station on the Torņakalns – Tukums II Railway. It's located near and named after the Imanta neighborhood of the Kurzeme District of Riga, Latvia. All electric trains of the line stop at the station.

Ziepniekkalns is a neighborhood of Riga, Latvia. It is located in the Pārdaugava section of Riga close to the city's southern border. Ziepniekkalns is the latest out of all Riga's neighborhoods. It was built in the late 1980s and early 1990s and mostly consists of Soviet-built 10 story apartment buildings. However, there are still many older buildings in Ziepniekkalns constructed in the early 1960s. There is a major contrast between older 3 story buildings and newer 10 story ones. In the mid-1990s, route 19 trolleybus was extended to the heart of new Ziepniekkalns and now final stop is at the Mego supermarket. The trolleybus route 4 runs through the city center to Jugla.

Imanta is a neighbourhood on the western edge of Riga, Latvia. The neighbourhood's northern border is Kurzeme Prospekts (Boulevard); and in the south, Imanta is separated from the newer Zolitūde neighbourhood by the Riga—Jūrmala railroad. Prior to development, the region consisted largely of pine forests, sections of which have been preserved in Anninmuiza Park in the center of Imanta, and the Kleistu forest to its north.
