The Edwin Hubble House is a historic house in San Marino, California. Built in 1925, it was the home of astronomer Edwin Hubble (1889–1953) for most of his professional life. Hubble is renowned as one of the greatest astronomers of the 20th century, whose discoveries revolutionized the science. His home, still a private residence, was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976.

El Molino Viejo, also known as The Old Mill, is a former grist mill in the San Rafael Hills of present-day San Marino, California, United States, and was built in 1816 by Father José María de Zalvidea from the Mission San Gabriel Arcángel (San Gabriel Mission). It is the oldest commercial building in Southern California, and was one of the first ten sites in Los Angeles County to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places, receiving the recognition in 1971. The Old Mill has also been designated as a California Historical Landmark.

The Katherine Emery Estate is a historic house located at 1155 Oak Grove Avenue in San Marino, California. It is named for prominent California resident Katherine Sinclair Emery, who commissioned its construction, and has no connection to 1940s Hollywood character actress Katherine Emery. Prominent Southern California architect Myron Hunt designed the Tudor Revival house, which was completed in 1928. The house's design includes multiple gable ends and dormers adorned with carved bargeboards and half-timbering. Other characteristic Tudor Revival elements include the stucco walls, groups of casement windows, and steep roof. The interior of the house features a Tudor great hall with a staircase, tracery windows, and oak woodwork. Landscape architects Florence Yoch & Lucile Council worked with Hunt, designing the gardens surrounding the house. Major features of their work include terraces with stone balustrades.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 2011. The National Trust for Historic Preservation acquired the property in 2018 with the current owners retaining life tenancy.

The Spinks House, also known as Margaret B. S. Clapham Spinks House, (constructed 1908 - 1909) is a restored example of a California bungalow in Pasadena, California, USA. The house and grounds were designed by Henry Mather Greene of the architectural firm Greene and Greene as a home for Margaret B. S. Clapham Spinks and the retired judge William Ward Spinks.

The Robert Roe Blacker House, often referred to as the Blacker House or Robert R. Blacker House, is a residence in Pasadena, California, United States, which is now on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1907 for Robert Roe Blacker and Nellie Canfield Blacker. It was designed by Henry and Charles Greene of the renowned Pasadena firm of Greene and Greene. This house was a lavish project for the Greene brothers, costing in excess of US$100,000.00 ($3.14 million today). Everything for the house was custom designed, down to the teak escutcheon plates of the upstairs mahogany panel doors to the linen closets with their ebony cloud adorned keys.

The Cordelia A. Culbertson House is a historic house located at 1188 Hillcrest Ave. in Pasadena, California. Built in 1911, the house was designed by prominent Pasadena architects Charles and Henry Greene. The Greenes designed the house in the Craftsman style; the design also features Chinese elements throughout, particularly on the south side of the home. Both styles frequently appeared in Greene and Greene's designs, and the house's U-shaped floor plan can also be seen in the brothers' other houses. However, the home features gunite exterior walls and a tile roof, a unique combination among the Greenes' works. An Italian garden is situated at the center of the home. The house was built for Cordelia, Kate, and Margaret Culbertson, three unmarried sisters; Cordelia, the eldest sister, officially commissioned the house. In 1917 the house was purchased by the wealthy widow Mrs. Dudley P. Allen of Cleveland, Ohio. She purchased it as a summer home that she enjoyed with her second husband Francis F. Prentiss, who later died there in 1937. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 12, 1985.

The Hale Solar Laboratory is a historic astronomical observatory in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California, United States. Built in 1923, it was the laboratory of astronomer George Ellery Hale (1868-1938), a pioneering figure in the development of the discipline of astrophysics in the United States. The building, a distinctive blend of Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles, was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989.

Arden Villa is a Palladian-style estate located in Pasadena, California, designed by the architectural firm Marston & Van Pelt in 1913 for William Kennon Jewett. Arden Villa has gained fame not only for its architectural splendor but also for its appearances in various movies and TV shows, earning it the nickname "Dynasty Mansion" due to its association with the popular 1980s TV drama Dynasty. Arden Villa was also used in the classic 1980's US TV series Knight Rider, as the base HQ for the fictional non-profit organization known as the Foundation for Law and Government. Knight Rider was an action drama series featuring a lone crime fighter Michael Knight and his artificially intelligent talking car called KITT. Over the years, Arden Villa has become a sought-after location for the entertainment industry, appearing in various movies, TV shows, and commercials.

Tournament Park is a park and athletics venue in Pasadena, California, United States, northeast of Los Angeles. Currently maintained by the California Institute of Technology, it was simply known as the "town lot" before being renamed "Tournament Park" in 1900. Tournament Park gets its name from the Tournament of Roses, and it served as a venue in the early 20th century for events associated with the Tournament, such as chariot races, ostrich races, and even a race between a camel and an elephant. Besides hosting Tournament of Roses events, the venue hosted other events at the turn of the 20th century, such as the Southern California Horse Show Association's annual horse show. Tournament Park is best known as the site of the first eight Rose Bowl Games (1902, 1916–1922).

The House at 1233 Wentworth Ave. is a historic house located at 1233 Wentworth Avenue in Pasadena, California. Architect Arthur S. Heineman designed the Cotswold style house, which was built in 1917 for Lydia C. Edmonds. The large front entrance porch is topped by an arched roof supported by wooden beams and wide brick piers. The gable end of this entrance is decorated with half-timbering, while the porch itself has a bargeboard pattern. The house's roof has a wide, low-lying horizontal component over the front of the first story and a smaller hipped component above the second-story section; both roofs have rolled eaves and wooden shingles, which replaced the original thatch covering in the 1920s. A contributing Cotswold style garage and gazebo are located behind the house.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 6, 1998.
