Cedar Hill High School

Cedar Hill is a city in Dallas and Ellis counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is located approximately 16 miles (26 km) southwest of downtown Dallas and is situated along the eastern shore of Joe Pool Lake and Cedar Hill State Park. Per the 2020 United States census, the population was 49,148. Cedar Hill is a suburb of the city of Dallas and is part of the Best Southwest area, which includes the nearby cities of DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster. Early in its history, Cedar Hill lay along a branch of the Chisholm Trail and served as the temporary county seat of Dallas County. In 1856, a tornado swept through the town killing nine people and destroying most of its buildings. The seat of the county was moved to Dallas not long after.

KERA (90.1 MHz) is a National Public Radio member FM station serving North Texas. KERA also relays its programming to three separate FM relay translators, extending the coverage area of KERA's programming into the Sherman-Denison area, Wichita Falls, and Tyler.

KAZD (channel 55) is a television station licensed to Lake Dallas, Texas, United States, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex with a simulcast of Spectrum News 1. Owned by Weigel Broadcasting, KAZD maintains offices on McKinney Avenue in downtown Dallas, and its transmitter is located south of Belt Line Road in Cedar Hill.

It is owned by Audacy, Inc. and it serves the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in North Texas. The station's studios are located along North Central Expressway in Uptown Dallas, and the transmitter site is in Cedar Hill off West Belt Line Road. The station is branded as "The Oasis" and airs a "modern jazz" format with a heavy focus on smooth jazz.

WRR (101.1 MHz) is a municipally-owned non-commercial FM radio station in Dallas, Texas, which provides a full-time classical music radio format, and operated by North Texas Public Broadcasting, Inc. The station uses HD Radio technology, although it currently offers no separate digital subchannels.
