Center Hill, historically Centre Hill, is an unincorporated community in DeSoto County, Mississippi, United States. It is located east of Olive Branch, Mississippi.

Olive Branch High School is a public high school in Olive Branch, Mississippi, United States, part of the Memphis metropolitan area. Olive Branch is a part of the DeSoto County School District.

Southwind High School (SHS) is a public high school located in unincorporated Shelby County, Tennessee, United States, and is operated by the Memphis-Shelby County Schools district, and is located southeast of Memphis. The high school which is located within the Southwind gated community was established in 2007.

Handy Corner is a crossroads and unincorporated community in Olive Branch, in east-central DeSoto County, Mississippi, United States. It lies at the junction of Goodman and Center Hill roads.

The Mike Rose Soccer Complex is a complex of 16 soccer fields and one 2,500-capacity stadium located in Memphis, Tennessee. The complex and stadium were completed in 2001 at a cost of around $4 million. The complex is home to many clubs in the Memphis area as well as several regional tournaments. The largest cross country race at night known as the Memphis Twilight Invitational is held here as well. It served as the home of the Memphis Tigers men's and women's soccer from 2001 to 2018. They then moved to the on-campus soccer & track stadium in 2019.

The Miller Plantation House is a historic mansion in Olive Branch, Mississippi. It was built in 1849 for William Lord Miller, a planter. It was designed in the Greek Revival architectural style, and its large size was unusual for its remote location. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 15, 1982.

Along with other rapidly growing places in DeSoto County, Olive Branch attributes most of its growth and development to the exodus of large numbers of families from central Memphis.

Cedarview is an unincorporated community located in Desoto County, Mississippi, United States, south of Olive Branch along Mississippi Highway 305.

Carriage Crossing is an open-air regional lifestyle shopping center in suburban Collierville, Tennessee outside Memphis, Tennessee. The property was originally developed by Cousins Properties as the Avenue Carriage Crossing, opening in 2005. In 2012, DRA Advisors partnered with PM Lifestyle Centers to purchase the property for $55 million. The anchor stores are Macy's (closing April 2021) and Dillard's.

The 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational was the 22nd WGC Invitational held July 30 – August 2 at the TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. Originally planned for July 2–5, it was rescheduled and played with no spectators in attendance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.FedEx Cup leader Justin Thomas won his second WGC Invitational title, and returned to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking having last held that position in June 2018. Thomas became the third-youngest player to win 13 times on the PGA Tour since 1960, behind Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.

The 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational was a professional golf tournament being held August 5–8 at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. It was the 23rd and final WGC Invitational tournament, the third of the World Golf Championships events in 2021. It was also the 64th year that the PGA Tour stopped in Memphis; dating back to the 1958 Memphis Open. The WGC Invitational was removed from the schedule in 2022, with the venue of the tournament hosting the FedEx St. Jude Championship, a FedEx Cup playoff event, ultimately replacing The Northern Trust.Abraham Ancer won the event after making a birdie at the second hole of a sudden-death playoff against Sam Burns and Hideki Matsuyama. The three had tied at 264 after 72 holes, 16-under-par, a stroke ahead of Harris English, the first, second and third round leader.
