Saint Peter's School (Russian: Петришуле, German: Sankt-Petri-Schule), often referred to as Petrischule (the German transliteration of its Russian name) is a secondary school in St. Petersburg. It is one of the oldest educational institutions in Russia, having been founded in 1709.

Kazan Cathedral House (Russian: До́м Каза́нского собо́ра, romanized: Dóm Kazánskogo sobóra), also widely known as the house of the clergy of the Kazan Cathedral (Russian: До́м церко́внослужителей Каза́нского собо́ра), is a historic building in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The building was built in 1813-1817 in the style of Russian Neoclassicism. Architects—Vasily Stasov, Andrey Voronikhin. Before the Russian Revolution, the house belonged to the clergy of the Kazan Cathedral (since 1813). Location: St. Petersburg, Nevsky Prospect, 25 & Kazanskaya street, 1. Regional object of cultural heritage.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saint Mary (Russian: Евангелическо-лютеранская церковь Святой Марии, Finnish: Pyhän Marian kirkko) is an Evangelical Lutheran church located in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was built in 1805 and refurbished in 2002. Its address is: Bolshaya Konyushennnaya Ulitsa 8A, off Nevsky Prospekt. It is usually called the Finnish church and is one of the oldest and largest Protestant churches in Russia.

Singer House (Russian: Дом компании «Зингер»), also widely known as the House of the Book (Russian: Дом книги), is a building in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is located at the intersection of Nevsky Prospekt and the Griboyedov Canal, directly opposite the Kazan Cathedral. It is recognized as a historical landmark and has official status as an object of Russian cultural heritage. It formerly served as the headquarters of VKontakte and Telegram Messenger LLP.

DLT (Russian:ДЛТ: Дом ленинградской торговли — Dom Leningradskoy Torgovli, "Leningrad Trade House") is a department store in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which as of mid-2012 is set to reopen after a major renovation as a branch of the TsUM chain. DLT is located on Bolshaya Konyushennaya street 21–23 just north of Nevsky Prospekt.

Kazan Cathedral or Kazanskiy Kafedralniy Sobor (Russian: Каза́нский кафедра́льный собо́р), also known as the Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan, is a cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church on the Nevsky Prospekt in Saint Petersburg. It is dedicated to Our Lady of Kazan, one of the most venerated icons in Russia.

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saint Catherine (Swedish: Sankta Katarina kyrka, Finnish: Pyhän Katariinan kirkko, French: Pyhän Katariinan ruotsalainen kirkko, Russian: Евангелическо-лютеранская церковь Святой Екатерины) is an Evangelical Lutheran church located at Malaya Konyushnaya Ulitsa 1 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The building was built in 1885. As it was built by and for Swedish expatriates in Saint Petersburg, it is usually called the Swedish church. The adjacent building is occupied by the Swedish General Consulate.

Kazansky Bridge (Russian: Каза́нский мост) is a bridge across Griboyedov Canal in Saint Petersburg, Russia. From 1766 to 1830, it had the name Rozhdestvensky Bridge (Рождественский мост) and from 1923 to 1944—Plekhanov Bridge (мост Плеханова). It is located near the Kazan Cathedral (hence the name). The bridge's length is 18.8 metres (62 ft), and the width is 95.5 metres (313 ft). It is second-widest bridge in St. Petersburg after the Blue Bridge, the lowest bridge in the city and therefore also the only bridge where sailing underneath it is prohibited. The bridge was built in 1765–1766 in place of previously existed wooden Rozhdenstvensky Bridge (since 1716) which was demolished during granite embankment of Griboyedov Canal.

The Italian Bridge is the bridge across the Griboedov Canal in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is a single span, steel, pedestrian bridge next to Italian street (hence the name). The bridge's length is 19.66 meters, the width is 3 meters.

The Stroganov Palace (Russian: Строгановский дворец) is a Late Baroque palace at the intersection of the Moika River and Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg, Russia. The palace was built to Bartolomeo Rastrelli's designs for Baron Sergei Grigoriyevich Stroganov in 1753–1754. The interiors were remodeled by Andrei Voronikhin at the turn of the 19th century.

The Griboyedov Canal or Kanal Griboyedova (Russian: кана́л Грибое́дова) is a canal in Saint Petersburg, constructed in 1739 along the existing Krivusha river. In 1764–90, the canal was deepened and the banks were reinforced and covered with granite. The Griboyedov Canal starts from the Moyka River near the Field of Mars. It flows into the Fontanka River. Its length is 5 kilometres (3 mi), with a width of 32 metres (105 ft). Before 1923, it was called the Catherine Canal, after the Empress Catherine the Great, during whose rule it was deepened. The Communist authorities renamed it after the Russian playwright and diplomat, Alexandr Griboyedov. The streets or embankments running along the canal are known as Naberezhnaya Kanala Griboyedova.

Green Bridge (Russian: Зелёный мост, Zyelyoniy Most) (also known as Police Bridge and People Bridge) is a bridge across Moika River in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was the first cast iron bridge in the city.In 1713, there was a major road built on the left bank of Neva river, which became the modern Nevsky Prospekt. At the crossing with Moika, in 1716 the original wooden bridge was built. In 1730 it was painted green, therefore it got the name of Green Bridge. In 1768 the bridge was renamed Police Bridge due to the nearby house of St. Petersburg's police general. In 1806 in place of the existing bridge, the architect William Heste built a new cast iron bridge. The strength of cast iron allowed a more elegant and lightweight design, especially compared with heavyweight granite bridges. The design was considered so successful, that it was approved as a standard design for bridges across the Moika. In 1842, the Police Bridge was widened to accommodate growing traffic on Nevsky Prospekt. In 1844 it was the first bridge paved with asphalt in Russia. In 1904–1907, when the tramway tracks were built into the Nevsky Prospekt, the bridge was widened again, and architect Lev Ilyin added street lamps.In 1918 the bridge was renamed to People Bridge (Russian: Народный мост, Narodniy Most), and in 1998 it was renamed once again back to its original designation, Green Bridge.
