Ara Sargsyan and Hakob Kojoyan Museum (Armenian: Արա Սարգսյանի և Հակոբ Կոջոյանի տուն-թանգարան) house museum of Ara Sargsian and Hakob Kojoyan where they lived since 1934 until the foundation of the museum. The museum building is a cultural heritage monument in Armenia.

Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences (Armenian: Երևանի Բրյուսովի անվան պետական լեզվահասարակագիտական համալսարան), is a public university in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, operating since 1935. It is named after the Russian poet and historian Valery Bryusov since 1962. The university graduates are specialists in Russian, English, French, German and many other languages, practical psychology, history, political science, area studies and other humanities. The university is located on the intersection of Tumanyan and Moscow streets at the centre of Yerevan.

Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum (Armenian: Հովհաննես Թումանյանի թանգարան) is a literary museum based in Yerevan, Armenia. It was founded on April 5, 1953 , dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the death of one of the most famous Armenian poets Hovhannes Tumanyan. The architect of the museum is Grigor Aghababyan.

Mashtots Avenue (Armenian: Մաշտոցի Պողոտա Mashtots'i Poghota), known as Lenin Avenue until 1990, is an avenue in the central Kentron district of Yerevan, Armenia. The avenue starts with the Victory Bridge at the south and ends up with the Matenadaran museum to the north.

Marshal Baghramyan Avenue (Armenian: Մարշալ Բաղրամյան Պողոտա) is an avenue in the central Kentron and the northwestern Arabkir districts of Yerevan, Armenia. The avenue is named after the Soviet Armenian commander and Marshal of the Soviet Union Hovhannes Baghramyan whose statue stands at the central part of the avenue. It was known as the Friendship Avenue (Comradeship Avenue) between 1970 and 1995, as a tribute to the friendship of all Soviet Union member nations.The 2.2-kilometre-long (1.4 mi) avenue starts with the Place de France at the east and ends up with the Barekamutyun Square at the west. It is mainly home to educational, government and foreign diplomatic mission buildings.

The National Assembly of Armenia (Armenian: Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողով, Hayastani Hanrapetyut'yan Azgayin zhoghov or simply Ազգային ժողով, ԱԺ Azgayin Zhoghov, AZh), also informally referred to as the Parliament of Armenia (խորհրդարան, khorhrdaran) is the legislative branch of the government of Armenia.

The National Assembly Building of Armenia (Armenian: Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի շենքը; Hayastani Azgayin Zhoghovi Shenk) is the home of the National Assembly of Armenia. The building is located on Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan, Armenia's capital city. It was designed by Mark Grigorian. It was completed in 1950 and initially housed the legislature of Soviet Armenia, the Supreme Soviet. Since the adoption of the Armenian Constitution in 1995, the building has been occupied by the National Assembly.

The Men (Armenian: Տղամարդիկ) is a public artwork in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Created by Armenian sculptor Davit Minasyan in 2007, it commemorates Edmond Keosayan's 1972 film of the same name, and comprises four statues, depicting the film's stars, the actors Mher Mkrtchyan, Avetik Gevorkyan, Armen Ayvazyan, and Azat Sherents.

The Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (Armenian: Ալեքսանդր Սպենդիարյանի անվան օպերայի և բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոն, romanized: Aleksandr Spendiaryani anvan operayi yev baleti azgayin akademiakan t’atron), simply known by locals as Opera, is an opera theatre in Yerevan. It officially opened on 20 January 1933, with a performance of Alexander Spendiaryan's opera Almast as its first show. The opera building was designed by architect Alexander Tamanian. It consists of two concert halls: the Aram Khatchaturian Concert Hall with 1,400 seats and the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Theatre with 1,200 seats.

The Freedom Square or Liberty Square (Armenian: Ազատության հրապարակ, Azatut'yan hraparak), also known as Opera Square and Theatre Square (Թատերական հրապարակ, T'aterakan hraparak) until 1991, is a town square located in Kentron (Center) district of Yerevan, Armenia. The square is part of the Yerevan Opera Theater complex, located just to the south of the main opera building, between the opera park and the Swan lake. Along with the Republic Square, the Freedom Square is one of the two main squares in central Yerevan. It is bordered with four streets: Tumanyan Street, Teryan Street, Sayat Nova Avenue and Mashtots Avenue. The statues of writer Hovhannes Tumanyan and composer Alexander Spendiaryan are located in the square.

Gethsemane Chapel (Armenian: Գեթսեմանի մատուռ, romanized: Get’semani matur’) was a small Armenian Apostolic church in the historical Shahar district of Yerevan, Armenia, that was destroyed during the 1920s to make way for the construction of the Yerevan Opera Theater on what is known today as the Tumanyan street.The Gethsemane Chapel was built by the end of the 17th century, replacing a 13th-century domed basilica ruined during the 1679 earthquake. However, the chapel of Gethsemane had a shape of single-nave basilica with no dome. It was surrounded by the old Yerevan cemetery. It was entirely renovated in 1901 through the donation of the wealthy Yerevanian Melik-Aghamalyan family. The chapel was eventually destroyed during the 1920s.

The Aram Khachaturian Museum (Armenian: Արամ Խաչատրյանի տուն-թանգարան) was established in 1978 in Yerevan, Armenia, just after the composer's death. The first permanent exposition was opened on January 23rd 1984 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the outstanding composer. The idea of the museum came about in the 1970s, and Khachaturian himself was involved in its design. The composer left his manuscripts, letters, piano, various memorabilia, and personal gifts to the institution in his will. The building is an extension of the house where the composer resided whenever he visited the Armenian capital. It was converted into a museum by architect Edvard Altunyan. The collection of note manuscripts and film music of Composer Aram Khachaturian included in the international register of the Memory of the World program. Under its founding director Gohar Harutiunyan, the museum succeeded in attracting financial support from a wide range of sponsors and benefactors, and expanded its collection of artifacts belonging to Khachaturian. Today the museum continues to grow under the directorship of Armine Grigoryan. The multi-storied building houses an attractive concert hall (with a concert-grand Bechstein piano), where a regular music series takes place. It also houses an extensive library of CDs and a workshop for the restoration and repair of violins. The museum maintains strong links to Armenian musicians and composers and is committed to furthering music in Armenia. It also publishes a range of scholarly books.
