Dubai Golf City is a mixed-use $1.8 billion project covering an area of 55,000,000 square feet (5,100,000 m2). The project was intended for completion in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in late 2009, but has been on hold with only one golf course partly completed. This golf course is no longer being maintained and the project looks to have been abandoned (Jan 2020). The development, when completed, will feature golf courses, a golf academy and convention centres. It is one of the largest projects at Dubailand.

The Trump International Golf Club in Dubai belongs to Donald Trump. It was inaugurated in 2017 by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. The course covers an area of 7,205 yards by 71. Its architect is Gil Hanse. In 2023, the fully floodlit back-nine holes of this club was inaugurated with an invitational nine-hole tournament. UAE golf industry, media and other TIGC guests were invited to participate.

Dubai Eye is a Dubai-based talk radio station owned by Arabian Radio Network, which provides business, news, current affairs, sports, entertainment and special interest programming for a cross-cultural audience.

GEMS School of Research and Innovation, also abbreviated to SRI, is a private school in Dubai Sports City, Dubai, following the National Curriculum for England. Following its opening in August 2025, it became the most expensive school in the country.

The ICC Academy Ground is a cricket ground located in Dubai Sports City, Dubai. ICC Academy provides indoor and outdoor pitches. ICC was used for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. The two cricket grounds are installed with floodlights. The venue hosted warm-up matches ahead of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Al Yalayis (Arabic:الياليس) is a community of the Emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Administratively it is part of the Sector 9 and is located in the central area of Dubai.

Dubai Sports City or DSC is a multi-venue sports complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, developed by Dubai. It provides a mix of residential, retail, leisure and recreational facilities. It is built around five major sports venues and features a number of sports academies. Located on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road the residential aspect of the project consists of mid-rise apartment buildings, townhouses and villas. Sports City contains three distinct residential districts: Canal Residence, Victory Heights and Gallery Villas.

The Dubai Autodrome is an FIA sanctioned 5.390 km (3.349 mi) motorsports circuit located in Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The architects of the project were Populous and the circuit was designed by Clive Bowen of Apex Circuit Design. Opened in October 2004 with the final round of the LG Super Racing Weekend featuring the final rounds of the FIA GT Championship, European Touring Car Championship and 2004 Formula Renault V6 Eurocup season, Dubai Autodrome was the first part of the Dubai Motor City development that was available for use. The venue hosted the December 2005 A1 Grand Prix and the FIA GT Championship from 2004 to 2006. The track record at the longest configuration was set by Kamui Kobayashi (DAMS) with a time of 1:41.220 in a GP2 Asia car. Since 2006 the Autodrome has been home to the Dubai 24 Hour, a GT, sports car and touring car automobile endurance race open to both professional and semi-professional teams. The circuit has FIA Grade 1 license, which means that it has all the requirements to host a Formula One race (though Abu Dhabi currently hosts F1 races in the UAE).

Dubai Motor City is a property development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, by Union Properties (a UAE based property development company). The development is based on a motor-sport theme and includes residential units, business towers, motor-sports facilities, retail and a theme park. The key components of Dubai Motor City are: Dubai Autodrome - A 5.39 km FIA certified track which opened in October 2004. The first Dubailand attraction to ever open. UpTown MotorCity - A low-rise residential apartment development including recreational areas, parks and schools. Green Community MotorCity - Residential development consisting of family villas, townhouses, and bungalows as well as luxury terraced apartments. Business Park MotorCity - Office space in several high rise towers and retail space including automobile showrooms and other automobile related shops. F1-X Dubai - A Formula One theme park.Apart from Dubai Autodrome which was opened in 2004 the remaining developments within MotorCity were due to be completed in 2009. However, in February 2009 Union Properties announced that the F1-X theme park would be put on hold and delayed due to the global financial crisis and problems with obtaining credit. Handover of UpTown MotorCity to owners started in phases during March 2009 and all residential units are now fully handed over. Dubai Motor City now hosts a range of retail outlets ranging from a large supermarket to a various restaurants and other outlets. Since the Global Financial Crisis decimated Dubai's economy in late 2008 work on some aspects of the project has completely ground to a halt, leaving the Marriott Hotel and The F1-X Theme Park half built.

Dubai Lifestyle City was a multi-purpose development project in the Dubailand area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, covering over 4.15 million square feet. Dubai Lifestyle City at Dubailand was officially inaugurated in January 2006. Had it been completed, the development would have had 68 villas and 120 villettes (apartments), golf course, auditorium, theatre, and sports and recreational facilities. The cost of the project was estimated to be Dh 2.4 billion. The project has now been cancelled. Designed by the Beverly Hills designer Tony Ashai, Dubai Lifestyle City was envisioned as a Tuscan inspired gated community. The objective of the Dubai Lifestyle City's developer ETA Star Group was to provide luxurious homes resembling those in Tuscany in Italy. The project would have consisted of large family homes and a series of low-rise apartment buildings, containing only large apartments all surrounding a practice golf course. The project would have had sports facilities, restaurants and cafes. The project has access to Emirates Road and Umm Suqeim Road.An infrastructure construction contract for Dh49 million was awarded in early 2008 to Saudi Binladin Group's Contracting Division.

The DP World Tour Championship is a golf tournament on the European Tour and is the climax of the DP World Tour Rankings. It is contested on the Greg Norman-designed Earth course at the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The title sponsor is DP World, based in Dubai.The tournament was first held in 2009 when the Order of Merit was replaced by the Race to Dubai. It is contested by the leading 50 players in the DP World Tour Rankings at the start of the tournament. It is the replacement for the Volvo Masters, which was a similar event for the leading 60 money winners on the Order of Merit. Past winners include Matt Fitzpatrick, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Henrik Stenson. Originally the tournament was to have a record prize fund of US$10,000,000, of which the winner's share would be US$1,666,660, however in September 2009 it was announced that there would be a 25% reduction in both the overall prize fund and the winners cheque. The prize fund was increased to US$8,000,000 in 2012 and then US$9,000,000 in 2021 when the European Tour announced the new title sponsorship with DP World Tour. The tournament also determines the Race to Dubai Bonus Pool, which goes to the top golfers on the DP World Tour Rankings after the tournament. It was original set at US$10,000,000 but reduced to US$7,500,000 paid to the top 15 players with the Race to Dubai winner getting US$1,500,000. In 2012 the bonus pool was cut in half to US$3,750,000 and reduced to the top 10 golfers, with the winner getting US$1,000,000.The 2013 DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates delivered a US$44 million gross economic benefit to Dubai, according to independent research commissioned by tournament organisers, The European Tour as stated in Vision magazine.

The Aviv Dubai Championship was a professional golf tournament held on the Fire course at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tournament was slotted into the 2020 season as the penultimate event, with the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, Dubai following the week after on the Earth course at the same venue. It was originally intended to be a one-off event.Antoine Rozner won the inaugural event with a 25-under-par 263 total. He shot a final round 64 to jump ahead of overnight leader Andy Sullivan; who shot a 61 in the first round.The event returned in the 2021 season and was sponsored by Aviv Clinics. Again it was the penultimate event to the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.
