The Residences of the World Trade Centre is a postmodern complex near the Harbourfront in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built in 1990, the taller of two buildings rises to 37 floors in height. The Residences of the World Trade Centre is a 700-unit condominium complex.

Queens Quay is an underground streetcar station of the Toronto streetcar system in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the only underground streetcar station that is not part of or connected to a Toronto subway station (Union, Spadina, and St. Clair West subway stations have underground stations for streetcars as well). It was opened in 1990 as part of the former Harbourfront LRT route. The station is now served by the 509 Harbourfront, 510 Spadina daytime routes and the 310 Spadina night route.The station is named after Queens Quay, an adjacent street skirting Toronto's waterfront. The station's internal signage bears the subtitle "Ferry Docks", a reference to the nearby Jack Layton Ferry Terminal for the Toronto Island ferries that provide pedestrian access to the Toronto Islands. This station did not open at the same time as the rest of the Harbourfront line it served, due to disputes regarding direct access to nearby businesses that eventually fell through. Additionally, after the station did open, the "FERRY DOCKS" subtitle was not yet present.

CIBC Square (known during early stages of development as Bay Park Centre) is an office complex in the South Core neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The complex, located on Bay Street south of Front Street, is a joint development of Ivanhoé Cambridge and Hines. It serves as the new global operational headquarters for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), consolidating approximately 15,000 staff from several CIBC-tenanted buildings in the Greater Toronto Area, including its existing headquarters at Commerce Court. The complex also includes the Union Station Bus Terminal constructed on behalf of Metrolinx for GO Transit and other inter-city bus services, connected directly to Union Station. The complex will also include a one-acre park elevated over the rail corridor.

The Union Station Bus Terminal is the central intercity bus terminal in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in Downtown Toronto on the second floor of the south tower of CIBC Square, on the northeast corner of Bay Street and Lake Shore Boulevard. The terminal currently serves GO Transit regional buses as well as Coach Canada, Greyhound Lines and Ontario Northland long-distance bus services, among others. Owned by the provincial Crown agency Metrolinx, the terminal is connected by pedestrian walkways to the adjacent Union Station, Canada's busiest transportation hub.The terminal opened on December 5, 2020, replacing both an outdoor terminal that was located on the north side of the rail corridor and the Toronto Coach Terminal.

The Toronto Harbour Commission Building is a six-storey building erected in 1917 in Toronto by Alfred Chapman for the locally run Toronto Harbour Commission. It was also used by its successor agency PortsToronto, a federal agency formerly known as the Toronto Port Authority. The lower floor is home to Harbour Sixty Steakhouse. Formerly sitting on the waterfront, infill over the years has left the building on dry land, and civic expansion has left it dwarfed by nearby buildings. Since 1953, the building has been rumoured to be haunted by the ghost of Thomas Cates, its former janitor, who died of natural causes while working his night shift. He is most often seen in glimpses in the north-western stairwell, where he will be sweeping or mopping the floor.The building was sold by PortsToronto in 2017 for CA$96 million to developer Oxford Properties. It is to be part of a commercial office development named The Hub. It was originally built at a cost of $247,000.

Pinnacle One Yonge is a mixed-use development currently under construction in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It will consist of six skyscrapers ranging in height from 22 to 105 storeys tall. The building known as the SkyTower will be Canada's tallest building.In November 2022, the developer Pinnacle International submitted an application to the City of Toronto to increase the height of the two tallest towers. The proposal will add 10 storeys to SkyTower, an increase from 95 to 105 storeys, increasing its height from 312 metres to 346 metres, making it the tallest building in Toronto, as well as potentially the tallest residential building in the world by floor count. The 80-storey third tower would see 12 storeys added, becoming 92 storeys tall. The total height would be increased from 264 metres to 306 metres. In November 2023, the city's Planning Department recommended the increases for approval by City Council.

One Yonge Street (previously known as the Toronto Star Building) is a 25-storey office building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The building served as the headquarters of Torstar and its flagship newspaper, the Toronto Star, from 1971 to 2022. It is 100 metres (330 feet) tall and built in the International style. It was built as a replacement to the Old Toronto Star Building, which was located at 80 King Street West. That building was torn down to make room for First Canadian Place. 1 Yonge Street is located in Queens Quay, and marks the foot of what was Highway 11, mistakenly believed to be "the longest street in the world". The building also housed the printing presses for the Toronto Star's print edition until 1992, when a new press centre was opened in Vaughan, Ontario. The finished newspaper content is sent electronically to the plant where the plates are burnt and the paper is printed and distributed. The editorial content of the newspaper was produced by employees working on the fifth floor.The office space at One Yonge Street is leased out to a variety of other companies, including Pinnacle International, the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, Ontario Cannabis Retail Corporation, RL Solutions, Starbucks, Luminus Financial, a dental office, and the downtown Toronto campus of Collège Boréal.Torstar sold the building and its surrounding property to a private holding company in 2000 for $40 million, but the newspaper continued to occupy several floors of the building on a long-term lease. In December 2021, the Toronto Star announced that it would vacate the building and move its offices to The Well, an office complex that hosts other companies, in 2022. The move was completed in November 2022.

Captain John's Harbour Boat Restaurant (incorporated as 1518756 Ontario Inc.) was a restaurant and banquet hall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. For most of its existence it was located in the MS Jadran, a former Adriatic passenger ship that was permanently docked at the foot of Yonge Street at 1 Queens Quay West on Toronto's waterfront. The ship was moored off on a small laneway at the foot of Yonge Street called Captain John's Pier. Once a prestige destination, the restaurant was open every day of the year, including all major holidays such as Christmas and New Year's Day, for almost 40 years. When it opened, the waterfront was an industrial portland. The Harbourfront redevelopment turned the area into a recreational destination for residents and tourists and a residential neighbourhood; Captain John's helped begin a gentrification process that ultimately claimed it as a victim.

Scotiabank Arena (French: Aréna Scotiabank), formerly known as Air Canada Centre (ACC), is a multi-purposed arena located on Bay Street in the South Core district of Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the home of the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). In addition, the minor league Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Raptors 905 of the NBA G League play occasional games at the arena. The arena was previously home to the Toronto Phantoms of the Arena Football League (AFL) and the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League. Scotiabank Arena also hosts other events, such as concerts, political conventions and video game competitions. The arena is 61,780.5 square metres (665,000 sq ft) in size. It is owned and operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE), which also owns the Leafs and the Raptors, as well as their respective development teams. The building was constructed in 1941 as the Toronto Postal Delivery Building for postal deliveries and was temporarily used by the Department of National Defence during World War II. After the war, the building was transferred to Canada Post in 1946 where it functioned as the main postal terminal for Metropolitan Toronto until 1989 when Canada Post moved its services to the Eastern Avenue facility. The Postal Building was sold to a consortium of developers but was reverted to Canada Post ownership in 1993 due to financial woes, but the new ownership of the soon-to-be Toronto Raptors basketball team acquired the building in December 1994 to construct the new arena. However, the Raptors were acquired by Maple Leaf Gardens Ltd., the owners of the Maple Leafs hockey team in 1998 during construction that began a year prior, to replace their outdated Maple Leaf Gardens arena. The arena was opened on February 19, 1999, at the cost of $288 million ($499 million as of 2022), with the Leafs playing the Montreal Canadiens the following night, and the Raptors playing the Vancouver Grizzlies the night after that.In 2018, Scotiabank Arena was the 13th busiest arena in the world and the busiest in Canada. It is also the most photographed location in Canada on Instagram according to BuzzFeed. Scotiabank Arena is connected to Union Station's railway, subway and regional bus services and is connected to the Path.
