Woodlawn Avenue Row is a set of historic rowhouses located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is one of a rare surviving group of speculative multi-unit frame residences designed to resemble rowhouses in the city of Buffalo. The set of four frame, two story rowhouses were built in 1898.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Offermann Stadium was an outdoor baseball and football stadium in Buffalo, New York. Opened in 1924 as Bison Stadium, it was home to the Buffalo Bisons (IL), Buffalo Bisons/Rangers (NFL) and Indianapolis Clowns (NAL). The stadium hosted notable events including the Little World Series (1927) and Junior World Series (1933, 1936 and 1957). The venue also hosted summer boxing cards, most famously the 1930 bout between future International Boxing Hall of Fame members Jimmy Slattery and Maxie Rosenbloom. The venue was demolished in 1961 and is now the site of Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.

It is a three-story, reinforced concrete frame structure with restrained Neo-classical detailing. It was designed by Albert Kahn in about 1926 and served as a Packard dealership for 30 years.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

It was built in 1968, is home to the Canisius College Golden Griffins men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. It was the also home to the Buffalo Stampede of the Atlantic Coast Professional Basketball League until the team folded.

On May 14, 2022, a mass shooting occurred in Buffalo, New York, United States, at a Tops Friendly Markets store, a supermarket in the East Side neighborhood. Ten black people were killed and three other people were injured. The shooter livestreamed the attack on Twitch. The accused, identified as 18-year-old Payton S. Gendron, was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder. Gendron is reported to have written a manifesto, describing himself as a white supremacist and ethno-nationalist motivated to commit political violence. He voiced support for the far-right "Great Replacement" conspiracy theory in the context of a "white genocide". The attack has been described as an act of domestic terrorism, and the incident is being investigated as racially motivated. Governor Kathy Hochul promised policy changes in the state as a result of the attack, while condemning the shooter and consoling the victims' families.
