Tai Shue Wan

Hair Raiser is a steel floorless roller coaster at Ocean Park Hong Kong in Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the coaster opened on December 8, 2011, and is the twelfth floorless coaster to be built. The large smiling face entrance is loosely based on Luna Park Sydney in Australia.

Deep Water Bay is a bay and residential area on the southern shore of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. The bay is surrounded by Shouson Hill, Brick Hill, Violet Hill and Middle Island. As per Forbes (July 2015), with 19 of the city's richest billionaires, it is reputed to be the "wealthiest neighborhood on earth".Beneath the hill of Violet Hill is a beach, Deep Water Bay Beach. The bay is reachable by Island Road, a road connecting Repulse Bay and Wong Chuk Hang. Deep Water Bay is the landing point for SEA-ME-WE 3, TGN-IA and TVH submarine telecommunications cables.

Aberdeen Channel (Chinese: 香港仔海峽) is a channel between the east side of Ap Lei Chau (Aberdeen Island) and Nam Long Shan (Brick Hill) on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. With two bays, Po Chong Wan and Tai Shue Wan, major portions of the channel are transformed into Aberdeen South Typhoon Shelter. As the channel approaches the north end of Ap Lei Chau it becomes Aberdeen Bay.

Nam Long Shan (Chinese: 南朗山) or Brick Hill is a hill on the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong, near Wong Chuk Hang and Aberdeen. At an elevation of 282 metres, it overlooks the South China Sea in the south, Sham Wan and Aberdeen Channel in the west, and Deep Water Bay in the east.

Repulse Bay or Tsin Shui Wan is a bay in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, located in the Southern District, Hong Kong. It is one of the most expensive residential areas in the world.

Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) is an international school in Aberdeen, Hong Kong. Founded in 1991, the school provides an education for over 1,800 students representing more than 40 nationalities from Early Years 1 to Grade 12. CDNIS is one of seven International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools in Hong Kong authorised to deliver three IB programmes – the Diploma Programme (DP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP). In addition to the IB Diploma Programme, students are also eligible to receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma upon graduation. The language of instruction is English, with Mandarin, French, and Spanish taught as second languages. Additionally, the Early Years programme now supports two teaching streams: Bilingual and International. In the Bilingual stream, students will receive equal instruction in both Mandarin and English. Whereas the international stream will focus on English with some Mandarin instruction. The Bilingual program is planned to commence in the 2022 school year in both Early Years 1 and 2 while the Preparatory programme will commence the Bilingual program in the 2023 school year. The Head of School is Dr. Jane Camblin. The school celebrated its 25th anniversary during the 2016–2017 school year. The school received its full IB re-authorisation in 2018 and full CIS/WASC accreditation in 2018. Over the summer of 2019, the school installed 349 solar panels on two of the school's roofs - making CDNIS’ photovoltaic farm the largest solar farm of any school on Hong Kong Island.

Ap Lei Pai or Aberdeen Rock is an uninhabited island in Hong Kong, linked to the south of Ap Lei Chau in Hong Kong. It is located between the East Lamma Channel and Aberdeen Channel. It is under the administration of the Southern District.

Ocean Park Hong Kong, commonly known as Ocean Park, is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and amusement park situated in Wong Chuk Hang and Nam Long Shan in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is the second largest theme park in Hong Kong, after Hong Kong Disneyland, as well as the largest theme park in Hong Kong by area. It is also the second oldest theme park in Hong Kong, after the now-defunct Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park which closed on 31 March 1997, four months before the 1997 handover. Opened on 10 January 1977, Ocean Park became popular, but 28 years later, it was unprofitable and widely expected to close due to the new Hong Kong Disneyland. However, the Park responded with a HK$5.5 billion development plan that saw it expand to over 80 attractions and rides, and steadily grow visitor numbers to 7.6 million in 2014, making it the world's 13th most visited theme park, and one of the largest theme parks in Asia. Half of all visitors now come from mainland China, in growth that parallels rising mainland tourist visitor levels to Hong Kong over the same period.Covering an area of 91.5 hectares (226 acres), the park is separated by a large mountain into two areas, The Summit (Headland) and The Waterfront (Lowland). These areas can be reached by a 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) cable car system, or the Ocean Express funicular railway. To ascend the Headland, which comprises several hills, visitors can use Hong Kong's second longest outdoor escalator. The theme park has various attractions and rides, including four roller coasters, and also animal exhibits with different themes, such as a giant panda habitat, rainforest and polar displays, as well as an aquarium featuring the world's largest aquarium dome. Between 1979 and 1997, Ocean Park was most famous for its signature killer whale, Miss Hoi Wai/Susie Wong. As well as being an amusement park, Ocean Park Hong Kong aims to merge entertainment and education, including conservation advocacy. However, it has been criticised by wildlife advocates for practices including the wild capture of large sea animals, such as dolphins and orca, and the presentation of shows featuring such animals performing.Ocean Park is also renowned for holding the largest Halloween events in Asia.

Singapore International School (SIS) is a kindergarten, elementary and secondary (up to Form Four and International Baccalaureate Diploma First Year and second year) school situated in two different campuses on Nam Long Shan Road, Hong Kong Island. It is an international school set up by the Ministry of Education of Singapore and follows the Singaporean curriculum. The school was established in September 1991 in Kennedy Town with an enrollment of 200 students. This number has risen above the 1500 students mark, from a variety of nationalities, with the majority being Hong Kongers and Singaporeans.

Wong Chuk Hang Estate (Chinese: 黃竹坑邨) was a public housing estate in Staunton Creek, Hong Kong. The estate had ten residential blocks and was cleared in 2007. The estate has been replaced by the MTR Wong Chuk Hang station and Wong Chuk Hang Depot.

Nam Long Hospital (Chinese: 南朗醫院) was a hospital in Hong Kong specializing in cancer treatment that closed in 2003. The site is now a nursing home operated as Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Jockey Club Sunshine Complex for the Elderly. The palliative medicine and acute geriatrics services were transferred to Grantham Hospital.

Middle Island (Chinese: 熨波洲, Tong Po Chau) is an island of Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of Southern District.
