The Narrows (Pennsylvania)

Bridge in Snake Spring Township, also known as the Narrows Bridge, is a historic concrete arch bridge located at The Narrows in Snake Spring Township in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1934, and is a 580-foot-long (180 m), open spandrel concrete arch bridge with five arches. The roadway is skewed and carries US 30, the Lincoln Highway, over the Raystown Branch Juniata River.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Chalybeate Springs Hotel, also known as The Chalybeate, is a historic 19th and early-20th century resort hotel located at Bedford Township in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. It consists of the original two-story, three-bay Federal-style brick dwelling built about 1851. In 1867, the front wing of the hotel was added. It is a two-story, brick structure with front and rear porches and second story gallery porches. The L-shaped rear wing was added about 1885, and is a two-story brick structure with porches and second story gallery porches on both sides. A separate ballroom building was built in 1903. The hotel was in use until 1913. In 1946, it was restored and refurbished. It operated as a hotel until 1956, when it was converted to apartments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Defibaugh Tavern, also known as Willow Grove Tavern, is a historic tavern building located at Snake Spring Township in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1785, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, log-and-frame building with a double stacked porch. The original section was built of logs and it was expanded in the early 19th century. It has a 2+1⁄2-story frame kitchen ell. Also on the property is a small log barn dated to the 18th century.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The district includes two hundred and ten contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Bedford. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The David Espy House is a historic house at 123 East Pitt Street in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Built in 1770, it is significant as the residence used by President George Washington when he was leading the troops that put down the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1983. The house is now used for commercial purposes.

It is the current location of the Bedford Fine Art Gallery which features 19th century art. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is a resort hotel which is located outside of Bedford, Pennsylvania. Established in 1806, it is one of last and best-preserved of 19th-century resort hotels based around mineral springs. The hotel was documented in 2005 by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS). Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The resort is part of the Omni Hotels & Resorts brand, based out of Dallas, Texas. A portion of the resort property, including the hotel, golf course, and spring areas, was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1984.
