Gracar Turn

Zapuže (pronounced [ˈzaːpuʒɛ]) is a small settlement northwest of Orehovica in the Municipality of Šentjernej in southeastern Slovenia. The entire municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.

Tolsti Vrh (pronounced [ˈtoːu̯sti ˈʋəɾx]) is a settlement in the foothills of the Žumberak/Gorjanci range in the Municipality of Šentjernej in southeastern Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.The local church, built on a small hill in the centre of the settlement, is dedicated to Saint Roch (Slovene: sveti Rok). It was a well-known pilgrimage church built in 1713 in gratitude for the ending of a local epidemic of the plague. Its main altar dates to the late 18th century and the side altars are from the 19th century.On a hill south of the settlement are the remains of a second church. It was a Romanesque building that was abandoned in 1782 and partly demolished in 1808.

Dolenje Mokro Polje (pronounced [dɔˈleːnjɛ ˈmɔːkɾɔ ˈpoːljɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Šentjernej in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The village was first mentioned in 1227 as Unter Nassenfeld (literally, 'lower wet field'). Due to flooding, the villagers began to settle at a nearby location, where it still stands. Only a few ruins have survived at the old location. According to the 2003 census, there are 36 houses in the village. Villagers attend Saint Sigismund's Church in the neighboring village of Polhovica.

Its territory extends to the woods west of the main settlement up to the banks of the Krka River. The entire municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. Velike Brusnice (pronounced [ˈʋeːlikɛ bɾuˈsniːtsɛ]) is a settlement at the foothills of the Gorjanci range to the east of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia. The entire City Municipality of Novo Mesto is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.The parish church in the village is dedicated to the Holy Cross and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Novo Mesto. It was built in 1846 in the Baroque style. The restoration expert Franc Avsec served as parish priest here from 1899 to 1900. A second church in the settlement is dedicated to the Holy Family. It is a Romanesque building with a mid-15th-century wall painting of Saint Christopher on the south exterior wall of the nave. It was extended in the late 16th to early 17th centuries.

Brezje (pronounced [ˈbɾeːzjɛ]) is a small settlement in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia. It lies in the hills to the south of the main road between Novo Mesto and Šentjernej. The entire municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
