The M.O. Campbell Educational Center is an indoor arena in Houston, Texas. The facility serves as the home basketball and volleyball court for the five high schools in the Aldine Independent School District (AISD). The Campbell Center is also used for graduations, theatrical performances, meetings, conferences, banquets and community events. The arena seats 7,000 people and is located on Aldine-Bender Road just south of Beltway 8, a short distance from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Greenspoint Mall. It is named for M.O. Campbell, who served as AISD superintendent from 1973 to 1986 and who is credited with moving the district to a cash-basis operation.The Campbell Center has hosted many events in its history, including the men's and women's Southland Conference collegiate basketball tournament, the Houston vs. the Nation high school basketball tournament (formerly the Academy National Invitational), the Texas Class 4A and 5A Region III high school basketball playoffs, the Class 5A high school Region III volleyball playoffs, and the University Interscholastic League state powerlifting tournament.

W.W. Thorne Stadium, an American football and soccer venue, is the home stadium of the Aldine Independent School District's (Aldine ISD) five varsity high school football teams - the Aldine Mustangs, Davis Falcons, Eisenhower Eagles, MacArthur Generals and Nimitz Cougars of District 18-6A, as well as for each schools' varsity boys and girls soccer teams. Thorne Stadium is located in north Houston, Texas, on Aldine-Bender Road just south of Beltway 8, a short distance from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Greenspoint Mall. It is part of the Aldine ISD Athletic Complex, which includes Thorne Stadium, the M.O. Campbell Center for basketball and volleyball, Elliott Lansford Field for baseball, and the Aldine ISD Softball Complex for softball.Thorne Stadium seats approximately 10,000 fans and has parking for 1,600 cars. The home stands are located on the west side, while the east side is the visitors’ side. The playing field is at ground level while each set of stands is built into an artificial earthen embankment. Fans enter the stadium through four gates situated at the top of each corner of the facility. Concessions and restrooms are located adjacent to the entrances. Thorne Stadium's amenities include a FieldTurf artificial playing surface and a 36-foot by 19-foot Spectrum video scoreboard located in the north end of the stadium. There are also two air-conditioned dressing rooms, two training rooms, an officials’ dressing room and a conference room (all located in the adjoining M.O. Campbell Center arena in the south end of the stadium). Thorne Stadium's press box contains facilities for scoreboard/clock operation, TV/radio broadcasts, newspaper reporting, game filming and several coaches’ boxes.In addition to hosting Aldine ISD varsity football and soccer games, Thorne Stadium has often been used by other southeast Texas schools as a neutral playoff site. The facility was also the home stadium for the Blue Chip Classic high school all-star football game.The St. Louis BattleHawks of the XFL will use the stadium for its preseason training camp from January 4-22, 2020.As of 2022, Thorne Stadium is currently undergoing a major renovation which will be expected to be completed by 2024.

The Aldine Independent School District is a public school district based in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, United States. It serves portions of Houston and unincorporated Harris County. Aldine ISD serves the communities of Aldine, most of Greenspoint, most of East Aldine, and portions of Airline, Acres Homes, Kinwood, Bordersville, and Inwood Forest. The district is part of the taxation base for the Lone Star College System. As of 2020, Dr. LaTonya Goffney serves as superintendent of schools.

Mount Houston is a community in north central Harris County, Texas. It is east of U.S. Highway 59, near the Dyersdale oil field.Mount Houston was established along the Houston, East and West Texas Railway. At that time it was 10 miles (16 km) away from Houston. A post office opened in 1910. In 1914 Mount Houston had 100 people. It featured several market gardeners. It included two churches, a sawmill, and a lumber company. The post office closed in 1918. By the 1980s Mount Houston did not significantly increase in size. Within 1 mile (1.6 km) of Mount Houston, three schools and three churches had been established.

The Airline Improvement District is a management district in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, United States, in Greater Houston and is located entirely within the postal zip code of 77037. Airline was originally a community, south of the community of Stuebner and west of the town of Aldine. The name appears on the 1907 postal map for Harris County. During the 79th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature, Texas House of Representatives member Kevin Bailey authored Bill #1458, which authorized the creation of the Airline Improvement District. The bill, sponsored by Texas Senate member Mario Gallegos, was signed into law. The district was created on June 17, 2005.

Forest Brook High School was a high school located at 7525 Tidwell Road in Houston, Texas, United States. Serving grades 9 through 12, Forest Brook was a part of the North Forest Independent School District. It is now the site of Forest Brook Middle School, now under the control of the Houston Independent School District. A brook runs through the campus.
